The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

male | seven | tied to striker | cobryn x enigma

Thinking clearly probably was not going to come quickly for him, not after this, what he had done. He had known only that blind rage, that need to rip into the wolf that had taken away their father. They could have had such a different life if it wasn't for this wolf and what he had done, and Solitaire hadn't been able to get past that. Plus, the blantant disrespect of the brindled wolf having said he actually ate Cobryn had hit Solitaire hard. All that time not knowing how or why, and then this was .. it happened fast, and Solitaire wasn't sorry that it was done, wasn't sorry for his part in it. The only thing he could feel sorry for was that he had dragged Tristan into it.

He hadn't given his brother a chance to really learn about what had happened, and Solitaire knew that if he hadn't attacked the male, Tristan wouldn't have gotten into it. Soli knew that his brother had jumped in to defend him, and that was something that would weight heavily on Solitaire now, because he knew Tristan wasn't really the violent sort. That, and Tristan had been hurt doing this, and Solitaire felt horrible for that, too. He would always do his best to heal Tristan, keep his brother healthy, but now he felt responsible for it this time. He had brought this down upon them both. Solitaire couldn't even look at the body that he had helped take down at this point.

His eyes were all for his brother and those wounds, his though hazily trying to remember where the healing supplies were so that he could use them for Tristan. There were leg scratches and a bite at Tristan's shoulder, and when Tristan answered him -- or started to -- Solitaire was able to shake some of the haze from his thoughts. He had seen Tristan shiver and moved closer to his brother. "Come on, let's get away from this.. I need to fix up your wounds, just in case." He said it softly, not wanting to be too adrupt right now when things felt oddly fragile. What if Tristan changed because of this? What if it messed something up in any which way? Solitaire was worried.
