Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Solitaire knows very well what it felt like to be cast out from the home of his birth. Of course that had been years ago, and here he was. Back home, back in Glorall under a leader that had seen his hard work and his dedication the the pack. Solitaire had wanted to do whatever it took to stay in the land of his birth, to live here near his brother, the last place that his parents had lived. Sometimes it was strange to think of how it had all gotten to this, how life might have been different if not for the meteors that had rained down on everyone before he'd been born. He cannot think of that now, though. It did him no good, and all he could do was keep moving forward.

Which he was doing. Dealing with his past when it came up, and recently it had, and getting through it. These things were not always easy, but life was full of hard choices and hard experiences. Solitaire understood all of that far too well for his age. Yet the good parts still remained under it all. Even after having been faced with his father's killer, having fought him, Solitaire felt sure that he would be okay. It still bothered him, but he would endure it. This was his life, for better or worse, and he was happy for the most part. He was starting to get over some of his issues from childhood, and he was something here. He had a place, and he would keep working at it.

The howl caught his attention, and Solitaire perked up, peeking out of his den of herbs and plant matter, listening for a moment. Then he called back to announce that he would be arriving there shortly. He shook himself off and trotted towards the border area where the call had come from, and spotted the pale female sitting there. He gave her a nod and a friendly smile, a wag of his tail before pausing before her. "Hello there. I'm Solitaire, Witch of Glorall. Can I help you with something?" He asked, needing to make sure what her purpose was here. He couldn't really give her membership, but he could always speak to a higher up to see about it.
