Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

it feels better
She had cowered and sunk her belly to the disgusting floor of the earth – neither of which she should have ever allowed herself to do – but it had worked. The silver one had not tried to take her life for her sniveling antics within Glorall and as such she had been granted a free pass of sorts. Perhaps she is deceitful in her ways and yet that is how Sever has come to survive at such a young age. She will leech what she can of this pack and do her dark bidding when her age matches her wit.

A formal acceptance of her presence within the seaside pack has not been uttered. It piques her interest in a way that she is curious as to why the alpha of Glorall does not care of her prior trespassing. On this wildly stormy night she slithers through the undergrowth of the trees just along the end of the shoreline. Her obsidian features are masked by the veil of darkness that engulfs the land and only when a tendril of lightning streaks across the ominous sky does her pelage flicker in shades of reflecting silver and red. Mismatching black and white optics scour the beach for the figure of the alpha that she knows lays in wait – his scent is heavy upon the bustling wind.

Branches rattle fiercely above her head and another crack of coupled lightning and thunder shatters the silence around their realm. Pitch ears flick to lay back upon her skull at the sound of snapping branches and she is quick to dart from beneath the trees. In her place lay a limb split in half where she once had crouched. Her nose rises to the air once again as another strong gust blows through and carries with it the direction in which Eden hide. Determined eyes turn to squint against the sand that is picked up by the winds in the way in which she believes she must search.

It is not very long after she had started off toward his trail that she finds him laying within the reeds and rocks of a small cove to shelter himself from the howling winds. Her dainty head tilts innocently to the side as she eyes him before stepping down within his haven so that she may speak and be heard. ”Hello.” she is bolder in her approach toward Eden than she had been with Underidge – although the underlying façade of submission still lies just beneath the surface.
