ABRAXUS x KISKA // 14 // ELIJAH'S NIGHTMARE
Her mind was well. The weakness of birth now faded as her health is replenished. And she is furious.
Zagan gone – disappeared. Where he may have ended up is a mystery to her and how her haze had allowed him to be gone so long only strengthens the rage. Asteraia has gone topsy-turvy, following in suit of Diveen not so long ago, and she will not stand to live under the rule of a stranger. She wishes to leave quickly so that their search for Zagan may begin and so she nips roughly into Elijah’s hip to get him going.
She is irritable, angered, and not to be trifled with. Her child is gone, stolen, dead, dying. She did not know and that’s what caused her extreme distress. While she drilled her values into each and every whelp she birthed, she knew that he was still too young be out on his own. Anything could have happened to him by now and perhaps there is some resentment toward Elijah for not realizing or bringing such a fact to her attention before now.
Vehemence rolls of her form in waves as she tramps through the fields. It is only when the scent of her own blood reaches her nose does she stop in her tracks. Ears flicker forward as she stands to attention and her black nose twitches for a moment. It is him and he is here. Glacial blue eyes switch back to Elijah determinedly before taking off at a full lope. The children can stay where they were – she had things to take care of.
Her nose leads the way as his scent becomes stronger and stronger. Before long she spots him standing atop a hill, his stark black form piercing through the brightness of the day. Her pace picks up and she climbs the mount to reunite with her son. Black nose presses into his fur and runs all over him as she sniffs out where he has been and who he has been with. He is not injured from what she can tell. There is no scent of blood and no feelings of panic coming from within him. She must ensure that he is well before she will take him away from this place.
The boy smells heavily of Tobias and that fact alone has her wondering why. She knows that the male is opportunistic and devours children like Zagan. Perhaps it had been because of her scent upon him. She will not worry over it right now. When she is finished looking him over, she presses her face into his own, a soft, barely audible whine sliding through her vocals. She had never felt this before. It is foreign and she is not sure if she likes it, but it feels right. She had worried for her child and now he is here. He is safe.
All ranks may be challenged for outside of Kuk and Thoth. Tasks to rise in rank will be given at the discretion of Sekhmet.

Thoth - Advisor to Sekhmet - God of wisdom, reason, and secrets. This wolf is extremely loyal to the Pharaoh. They can make and block steals as well as accept challenges when Sekhemt and the Kuk are unable to do so.
Imhotep - Divine Priest - Spiritual Advisor to Sekhmet. You will make sacrifices to the gods in her name.
Amunet - The Heir - One who is hidden and her powers are connected to the words silence, stillness, mystery and obscurity.
Ma'at - Lead Diplomat - God of justice and order. You maintain peace and order within the pack and with those to whom we are bound.
Nephthys - Head Butcher - God of death and decay. You, mighty butcher, will be the artful assassin. Those marked should meet Anubis soon.
Set - Head Thief - God of chaos and change. Take everything that you need and a little extra to grow. The rest is tribute.
Horus - Head Hunter - God of good hunting. Great hunter, the feast will be plentiful when you step on the fields.
Isis - Head Healer - God of healing and protection. You mend the wounds and do not allow weakness to fester.
Seshat - Head Informant - God of knowledge. Gather information on our friends and enemies alike.
Scepters - Warriors - You will work closely with Sobek. Fight for your pack; you will often be asked to escort other members on outings when it is seen fit.
Kemet - Hunters - Working under the eye of Horus, you will ensure the pack is fed.
Medjay - Scouts - Show me, what bounties can you find for the gods? Report your findings to Seshat.
Snares - Thieves - The world is ours, let us reap from it. Learn your art from Set.
Heka - Healers - Work with Isis to heal wounds and ease pain; repair what is broken to the best of your abilities.
Scribes - Diplomats - You will work under Ma'at to complete the duties of mantaining peace within and outside of the pack.
