Fir Chilis is the name given to the dense string of forested land that fills much of Blossom Forest. There are two different populations, depending on where in the land you are. To the north lays the deciduous forest, full of maples, oaks, birches, and beeches. To the south lay a coniferous forest full of pines and firs. No matter where you are, the trees shelter you from the sun and the rain and the snow. Take care not to get lost in the woods however - you may never find your way out. There are other dangerous here too - predators waiting for their own prey. While the land is prosperous they do not pose too much of a threat, but whenever famine or drought hits, they will attack anything... even other Putnar.

Those looking to hunt will find the forests well stocked - there are white-tailed deer, turkeys, red squirrels, chipmunks, mermots, and moose.

A soft giggle tumbled from her lips as her brother bit the tip of her tail, pretending that it was an affectionate motion more than an annoyed lash out. He no doubt believed that she had taken her time to get to him solely to make him wait... which was of course partially true. She would never going to rush to meet him anywhere if he demanded her presence - Shae took her own time getting places. To rush to meet him would mean that he had something she wanted - that she needed to appease him for some reason. Even if that ever truly was the position, she would never let him know that. No, she would get what she wanted out of her brother some other way.

But to digress, he did not move away from her when she leaned into him affectionately. For, in truth, Shae truly did love her brother. As much as she taunted him, manipulated him, aggravated him until he was ready to lash out at her... she cared about him deeply. They had survived the plague that was their father together... they had been abused by the same tyrant in the same way, and that connected them in a way that was stronger even than their blood bond. Jealous? No. For you have to dream about being surrounded by those who are attractive, that is my life. I don't need to dream. Shae let out a low growl, annoyed that her brother had painted her in such a light - as a whore. He knew her game, that she never truly allowed the brute's into her heart - or into her for that matter. She played all of them for her own gain without truly ever letting them win a single thing from her - except for her exaggerated affections.

And as for my motive as to why I called you, well, does a brother need an excuse to see his little sister? Harries swung his weight into her dangerously, as they were already close to the edge of the cliff, and Shae stumbled toward the dropoff before jumping away from him, moving closer to the center of the plateau. "Normally a brother would not need an excuse to see his little sister, but you and I are not normally siblings, and while I am quite amazing, it's true, I find it hard to believe that you would desire to see me if you did not need something from me, Harries. Do not think or even pretend that I am that naive. Speak plainly, now, my love. What do you want." Her brother was momentarily silent though, and her chocolate orbs watched his nares flare before he smirked at her grimly. Been spending a lot of time with Caspian have me? And Akuji? Does this mean that the little princess has joined a pack? We have been a busy bee haven't we? The kalak's pinnae flattened against her skull, her lips raising slightly before she relaxed, shrugging in response to his comment. "My business, unlike yours, is private and none of your business. But if you must know, your favorite little brother has been broken and once more has returned to his dangerous state of insanity. I must watch over his so that he does not do something that he - and we - would regret. Do not forget that if Father is unhappy with Akuji, he will come here... and neither you nor I want that. You would be good to remember that much of what I do is to protect you from his wrath and with a single word in his poisoned auds, you would be shackled and dragged home real quick." The fae turned from him, upset that he had discovered her one little secret, but within a few moments she sighed - it was only to be expected that he would have found it out.

"So, my dear, is that all you wanted from me? To tell me things I already know? You silly little boy, thinking you could discover everything about me by simply watching me from afar?" She whipped her head back, her orbs glinting with amusement. Though she never had seen him following her, she was acting on a whim that he had been... it would only make sense. They were very similar, he and she, and if she had spies watching him, it would only make sense that he was watching her as well.
