Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

and when you smile...
the whole world stops and stares for awhile..

Kellin didn't know if he should have any certain feeling over another as far as a pack went and who was in control of them, but since he hadn't gotten to know many at all, he couldn't say one way or another on it. This was how life went; the passing of packs along to those born into it or stronger. Maybe he should feel more inclined towards Glorall where his fathers had once ruled, but he doesn't. Kellin never got to really taste what it was like to be a prince, so it didn't sink in that he should feel in any way bound to the seaside packlands. He certainly did not feel any kind of claim on them, despite the fact he had been born for the placement.

If anyone knew what it was like to get lost in thought, Kellin did. He was often enough in his own little world within his mind, because he knew what to expect there, while the real world was full of different surprises. Some of them were very bad surprises, and Kellin did not appreciate those. However, there were many good things about life as well if he were to look at it that way. He was healthy and alive, he was away from the cruel vagabonds, and his soul-half could be much worse. Kellin did not understand it all the way, of course, but eventually he would find out more. Once he met a wolf who had more information on it.

Either way, Kellin would keep going as he was until there was a reason to do otherwise. He liked the woodlands as a home well enough, no matter those sneaking feelings that maybe Sabriel was right about the pack idea, if only he could find one that worked out for him. There were times when he felt so out of place, so confused about where he stood in life. It hovered over him often, but if he could just find something to entertain his mind with, he'd go for it. Like saying hello to a stranger and hoping for a conversation. Kellin wasn't going to let past mistrusts rule him on this, though maybe it should have made him more wary of those he did not know.

Outlanders could be just as harsh as the loners of Moladion, and Kellin wouldn't let any of them get the best of him. Though that did not mean he couldn't be friendly at first, if it was possible that the wolf in question seemed friendly or at least not of ill intent. At this point in time with the female he had seen roaming around the trees, Kellin saw nothing about her to make him wary. Sure, he himself was not exactly of a worrisome appearance, but he had been born thin and sort of feminine, had a fringe that hung over a bit of his face (though it could be a bother at times). The strangest looking wolf he had ever seen, however, would be his brother Sabriel. Now that was different.

And Kellin does understand the feeling of retunring home after being away for so long. He had been excited to return home after he had gotten away from his kidnappers (to which he owes Sabriel for having helped him do so), yet upon returning home and seeing that his mother had moved on with her new family, that excitment had deflated. He had been happy to be away from the vagabonds, but he had realized that he lost his family at that point. He had been too late to return and take his place, so he had done what anyone may have done; he left them be, because he couldn't intrude or take away from the new children who needed his mother's attention more.

Kellin had left with Sabriel for a time, having only returned about a year ago. There had been much learned in that time away, so much explored and seen. But it was also good to be home, whatever that actually meant for him. Sabriel had wanted to find the gypsies and found none, and Kellin? He had found and caught two half siblings off-guard and they seemed okay then, happy to see him, even.. then he had went to call for them again and got no answer. Maybe he had gotten the wrong impression from them. Maybe Reian hadn't actually wanted him to join when she asked if he would stay. Maybe she had been worried that he would.. There was no knowing now.

The female's hello in return to his made Kellin smile more, thinking that she was friendly by the tone of her voice as well as the fact that she had greeted him in a kindly way. Even in just a hello, and then the question that was polite enough as well. He tried to look peaceful when he noted her discomfort, not wishing to be the cause of it. "Just walking about. As a gypsy, I suppose you could say I sort of live here, in that I often come back to the woodlands to rest." He asnwered lightly, giving a light wag of his tail as a sign that he would remain friendly to her. "What about you?" He asked her right back, wondering what had brought her to Moladion.
