The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

GuardianAzrael x Andromeda

There would be some, surely, whom did not seek to take orders from a child so very much their junior and yet, in this- Guardian held no true issue. Hyrule was young, inexperienced, naieve perhaps in his ideals of the world yet Guardian is not foolish enough to discount the ambition of one favoured so strongly by Heyel, just as Achilles himself. He is a peaceful creature at his core, a gentle being whose pleasant façade held beneath it a true and devastating capacity for war should it so be called upon in defence of the family and friends he had been born to protect. He had been named for the role that would one day be his own when his sire passed- to protect any whom held Angel blood and it is for this reason he marches out within the darkness beside Calliel and Achilles to meet with the red-eared child of Neveah and Orion whom had remained within Diveen when so many had turned from it. He had been curious, at first, in regards to Hyrule’s decision and yet perhaps the more he thought on it the more he had come to understand, to see perhaps what others did not. There was sense in that plan, a sense he himself had not seen at first and that is reason alone, to his mind, to at least allow the child a chance to bring about whatever vision it was he seemed to hold for them.

Why he had been chosen he cannot say, the little white male assured of his choices. Achilles, Calliel, Orfiel and himself. Brother and sister, brother and brother and he- cousin to them all though none of his own siblings had been chosen. For now he does not question it, much remains unanswered and such is the goodness of his nature he is inclined to allow such answers to be provided. He no longer cares to dwell on the matter of Covet or his own specific expulsion from Diveen- for he holds no shame in his actions, for they did not occur, not as Covet believed and as such Guardian refuses to allow himself to be judged by that which simply never occurred. If Covet wished to lie then let it be so, precious few, if any, truly believed him and if they did believe such lies then they were of no use to the son of Azrael and Andromeda, his towering frame falling into place beside Achilles. If he was to be exiled for being polite then so be it, he would exile himself to be with Achilles regardless and he is content to be beside his Prince, the true heir to Diveen as chosen by Isola, it’s rightful Queen. He would except no other and his mind was already in assurance of this.

The manner in which Achilles treated the cave they entered brought a rumbling laugh to his lips, that throaty chuckle humming from within his chest as he did, Achilles flying suddenly sideways in despair at the flith of the cave.

“S’alright ‘chilles, dun reckon nut’in in ‘ere can ‘urt ya.”

Hyrule comes into view soon enough, seated atop a rock of sorts that sees Achilles leap up readily beside him as was his place and perhaps in that moment Guardian is given to understand the words Heyel had spoken. He had called Achilles ‘delectus’ and referred to Hyrule in turn as ‘puerum rex’. The Chosen Heir and The Boy King, a smile of sorts given to trace his lips to see them both stand as such though for now he remains silence upon his thoughts in regards to such titles and their meanings upon one another. Heyel had, after all, selected each of them here tonight for a reason and Guardian is curious of it. He allows the blue gold of his gaze to rest upon Calliel in the moment, returning her nod and allowing another soft smile to grace his lips. She had challenged him, fought him in her grief and anger and as such he had answered that call though he took no pleasure in it. Yet- Guardian is of another breed entirely it would seem, for all his heated blood he is a truly forgiving creature and he is content to rest beside her once more, seating himself now next to his cousin Calliel. What is done is done and he holds nothing against her, content to forget it.

“Reckon we all wanna ‘ere what ya got to say, ‘Rule. We listenin’.”
