Things are hardly ever as they seem in Molodian. Most usually said things end up becoming much more complex than originally thought to the point of distraction. Wily games were not a forte of Aithne's and she hadn't yet tried to extend a paw in such a direction. To misguide with information was a tricky thing. Thus far she hadn't the inclination to do so anyways, because who in Molodian had her dislike? Of course, Jaidah was among the top of that list. There was always something about the white female that made Aithne irritated and to add insult to injury she had snapped at one of Aithne's own wolves in her 'escape' attempt. Really, all she had to do was stick around for two weeks like Aithne had bid her. Iscariot had been a wealth of information upon his rise to Vigilax and she had taken all he had told her into consideration. It was most alarming recently to hear the events of Asteraia. A female by the name of Tick Tock had taken control and with her a black male named Tobias. It didn't seem like a coincidence that a black male named Tobias should end up with a black female, almost like the description she had been given. Before a pack they had slaughtered, but with a pack? Who knew the devastation they might cause.

She had never seen Riot act so strange before. It leaves an unsettled air about them that has her interest perking quickly, eyes sharpening upon him as he begins to speak. Information was the currency around in these parts and Riot was certainly offering up a lot of it. This, however, was something that actually ate at him. Aithne did not like surprises. She felt in this that there would be a surprise that she did not care for - clearly her Vigilax didn't - and as such she is intent upon every word while her claws dig into the soft soil below.

Ah, the attacker of Paldor, she thinks with a ready eagerness to find out what kind of wolf would do such a thing against the white male. He was strange, certainly, but he was a wolf of her pack. Aithne did not take well to those who would harm an Iromar wolf despite the fact that Paldor had been away from Iromar for quite a long time. The moment that Iscariot states that it is Covet her head jerks back, ears flattening and teeth flashing in the daylight in her sudden fury. The usurper is the attacker? The very male who called her to Diveen to seek an alliance? Aithne is what one might call fair - in her mind blood equals blood. To align with him would mean that she would not ask him for recompense but that would never happen. Paldor deserved to have judgement come upon his assailant. "That little..." she growls, her hoarse voice even deeper and emerald eyes flashing in anger.

Her voice trails away as he continues, narrowed eyes widening and ears lifting in surprise as her eyes flash down his body as if trying to figure out how Iscariot came from Covet. Her nostrils flare then to suck in his scent, familiar and at once alien. Only the faintest of traces liken him to the Rex of Diveen, something she never would have caught if not for Iscariot telling her now. Confessing all with his chagrined expression. "Well," was all she said for a moment, completely stumped as she stares at him with an inscrutable expression before sighing. "It seems like the world turns back in on itself. Malina, I believe that is the name of the mate of Rogue, sister of Andras. You are connected to them all in a way then. Did you only just find this out, Iscariot?" It seems so but she has to know for sure, has to know that he has not kept from her the very truth of his heritage. "What will you do with this knowledge now?"
