The caves are where it all started. They allowed the first wandering wolves access to the land of Blossom Forest, and afterward housed the monster that had threatened the earliest of inhabitants. The heroes had slain it, yes, but in doing so had also closed off one of the pathways in the caverns, magic blocking one of the many exits to Blossom Forest. But over the years, the original spell has weakened and now the way is clear. What will not only crawl out of the caverns, but erupt from it? The caves now thrum with the ever growing magic wellspring as it spreads out into the land. It is from here that the first vampire of Blossom Forest was corrupted, and it is here that any subsequent vampire will be born. To traverse its paths is dangerous - there is an almost impenetrable darkness, and in that abyss lays many secrets - hidden holes one could fall through, weakened floors, and then of course there is the labyrinthe itself. No one knows what the deeper levels hold - no one has traveled them and survived to tell tales. Not even those who call this place home dares to test their luck by going in deep, deep, deeper. The magic exuding from this place has rearranged the lands - moving packs, changing the terrain. Here the cave looks the same but it is not - it is more dangerous than ever. In addition, outside the mouth of the cave the sacred stones that once stood erect in another place now stand guard. They are colored the most beautiful arrangement of jewel tones, and almost appear to be made of gems themselves, no longer the dull grey they once were. It is within them that all official fights must take place - at the Blican Orlege. Welcome to Drylic Cofa...

Darkness Imprisoning Me

All That I See, Absolute Horror

The female was still surprised with herself. She was not usually the type to be talkative or to approach others, she was the exact opposite. She had been taught to ignore others and to avoid them at all costs, that other lupines were dangerous to her and to her family. And her family was the only thing that she cared about in this world. She had little care for her own life, the only concern being that her young may not be old enough to take care of themselves, though really she knew that they were old enough now. Corde and Felan were now teens, the age that she had been when she had run away with her brother, who also happened to be her pups father. It was an awkward situation to be in, and not one that she had wanted to happen. The pack she had been born into was one that was cruel and tortuous, in a different way than the pack that she had just joined. Despite the rumors that surrounded Abendrot, the pack was a family of lupines that looked out for each other and would protect each other. And the female was proud to now be a part of that family.

Maybe that was what made Azula approach the solitary male rather than turning around and heading back out of the caves that she had wandered into. Ignoring her instinct to leave felt wrong, and she still was not sure if she had done the right thing by speaking out loud and alerting him to her presence, though he probably already knew she was there. It was not easy to sneak up on a varg of Abendrot. But here she was, standing with one paw in the many puddles that littered the floor of the caverns, waiting to see what he would say to her. After she spoke, the brute stood, stretching from his position on the ground and eventually sitting down. She was unsure if the ease he seemed to be in was a farce or if he truly was relaxed. The demoness was almost never relaxed, she didn’t think she would ever truly be able to relax after having pups. Wondering about the well-being of her young was a never ending and stressful job to hold, even though they were older now.

The brute spoke in return, his bright red orbs standing out against his dark pelt as her green ones did against her multi-hued coat. "Hello. Yes, I am. I had the opportunity to meet three wolves so far just on my offer to join, one encounter included the Queen. I'm Mabbit." His words perked her interest. Who else did he meet besides Scarlet Nights? Did Kershov not greet him as the alpha had done with her and her family. She knew it was being nosy, but she spoke anyways, still standing and on guard in case the brute were to ever turn violent, as she was accustomed to males acting. ”So, Mabbit, what other vargs of Abendrot did you have the pleasure of meeting? What do you think of the pack so far?”
