It was an interesting turn of events. She was nothing more than a loner that stayed within the shadows. Her attachment to others nonexistent, but secretly she craved such a thing. It would take time to figure these loose strings out, but eventually she would have them wrapped around each living creature within the fields. They were hers now and she could do what she liked with them. She had a variety of options of how she wanted to play this out. She could be a terrifying tyrant, a ruthless dictator, or a cruel master to those under her. Yet she would do no such thing. She would never, not once, ask them something to do that she would not have done herself. This was to be a haven for the wolves that walked the same dark and twisted path. The ones that were not like the others within their species. She would provide them a home, a place to go to should they take that one step too far. None would trespass her borders to take the ones that were like her. Tobias would not be the only would that would be safe here. Others would be too and she would make damn sure of it.
She was glad to see Flare helping her with this task. The other wolves did not seem hurried to do such a thing and Tobias was lying down somewhere. It was Flare that came to help secure the border. It would be a long task, especially since she just came back from the fight with Jadiah’s second, but it was something that needed to be done now. Though it would take them hours if not days to achieve this goal. She had already sung her song claiming the place was hers and it would have to do for now. She would not allow Flare to travel the border by herself with concern to her safety. Perhaps Jaidah or a wolf of hers would want to harm one of Tick Tock’s members and she would not give them that pleasure. She would walk along the borders spreading her scent as she did, but she found that the more she walked the more pain she felt in her lower left neck. With Flare busying herself with marking Tick Tock would turn her head to the right slightly letting out a soft bark to alert Flare to come and she would stand there, waiting, until Flare came.
Her shoulder would gently brush against the white and red lupine and with a tilt of her head towards the right she beckoned the girl to follow. Tick Tock appreciated her quietness. Some wolves did not know how to talk to the other in the most natural state and it was a nice breath of fresh air to be among one that was not like others. It would take a while but eventually the two would come upon the entrance of two hills with a large river running through it. In the side of one of the hills was a hidden entrance towards a widen cavern. There was a reason why she liked the quiet and dark place, with a small part of the river running through it. She would rub against Flare as they walked up at the entrance of the mouth of the cave and she would rub Flare’s scent along the wall, her way of permitting the she-wolf not only to enter, but to stay. Obsidian legs would carry her scarred frame over towards a wide flat rock and she would gently lay herself down, not minding she was in this way in front of Flare. Dark sapphire eyes would watch Flare for a moment as she wondered how Flare would take to this invitation. This was to be her home, where Tobias would be welcomed to lay beside her and she would allow the same for Flare. A sharp sting could be felt along the lower side of her neck and she would attempt to lick what she could, but she was incapable of doing such a thing without feeling the pain. With an aggravated sigh she would lay her head over her paws growling softly at her discomfort.
