Indian Lake is more than lucky to have good common sense farm/land practices in our GMR watershed above the IL spillway

"Mega" livestock farms of Hogs, Cows & Chickens in mostly the last twenty years have pushed NW Ohio over the brink from the normal so-so "land/crop" farming practices of the past. A large area of the worst offenders in Central/NW Ohio dump into the St Marys river which flows into Indiana to Ft Wayne before dumping into the Maumee river which then dumps into Lake Erie. Many of these "Mega" livestock farms are foreign owned to turn a 'buck at our expense along w/greedy scum-bag locals in it for the Buck$...
Ohio does not crack down near enough on these "Mega" livestock farms (mostly lip-service & studies), but spends our hard earned tax dollar$ wastefully for cleanup of 'crap lakes like lake St Marys w/o much to show for it.............
