Silence. It was something that wasn’t easily attainable. Though when the opportunity was there only a fool wouldn’t take it. Tick Tock had been wanting more than a few moments of peace and quiet. Marching along the borders to reapply and secure her border wasn’t all that it was cracked up to be, but it was imperative. She appreciated Flare’s assistance. Tobias had not done much to help her out and she didn’t expect him to. He wasn’t the type that liked to wander around the sun let alone actually follow any orders. She knew this and didn’t bother him with it. So long as he came back to their den that they shared with Flare then she was quite content. With a small pack came the advantage of still feeling ‘alone’ and she would enjoy this sense of solitude.
A top a low-grassy field laid an obsidian behemoth that was pleasantly unbothered at the moment. Her soft breathing was evident that she was fast asleep. Lying underneath the golden sun the canine felt a little feline today by relishing in the warmth to soothe and sedate her into a cat nap. There was no one to bother her at this moment. She was sure Flare was out and about doing what she wanted most likely guarding the border. Tobias was not a creature that enjoyed being in the sunlight and he may be off within the cavern den she found for them and her mate to enjoy, or perhaps out and about within the loner lands doing as he pleased. With the weather cooling down Tick Tock didn’t mind being outside that much when the sun was out. Though really today she should have reconsidered her location.
As she pleasantly slept her half-torn ear twitched when she heard the pathetic sound of a growl coming from a whelp. Yet still she would not wake up. The pup was not hers and she had no desire to wake up and see what sort of mischief it was in. Though it was the sudden bump of the small pale pup’s body ramming into her own that caused her dark eyelids to open and reveal a cold, smoldering azure blue eyes. A deeper, more intimidating growl rumbled within her scarred chest, her neck would lift up from her long limbs as she turned around to see the white pup soaking up the sun after her failed attempt of catching a butterfly. Black lips pulled back to reveal her sharp fangs as she glared at the child. With a rough snort she would dip her head low, using her muzzle to actually shove the girl away, and when she was at a far distance, the dark she-wolf would place her head back over her paws. Her eyelids starting to close as she gave one final low growl, a warning, to the girl. Don’t wake the Monster from her sleep again.
