Dayton City Tournament - Delayed Two Full Weeks!
IP: 76.243.37.193

Update on Dayton City Tournament!

Due to extensive rain during the 2015 league season in and around the Greater Dayton area, the Dayton City Tournament, which has been opened up to team from not only the City of Dayton leagues, but also all teams playing in counties adjacent to Montgomery County, is being postponed for two full weeks.

Instead of planning to start next week, the men's and mixed couples portions of the Dayton City Tournament will now delay start until the week of 3 August. This delay affords teams with interest to both get more league make-ups out of the way and consult with their teams to play in this week-day event for bragging rights over Dayton softball.

The new deadline is set for close of business on Tuesday, 28 July.

Reminder: In addition to co-ed/mixed couples division, the men's division invites league or tournament teams to play in Elite, Upper, or Lower divisions of play. Elite is unlimited home runs; upper is maximum of 3 home runs; and lower is no home runs.

Several teams are already entered in each division and, with the seniors tournament being played in advance of the men's & mixed tournament, it is expected that diamond availability will increased, making for a fast paced, Monday thru Thursday schedule to determines winners...who earn financial credit for the 2016 league play in Dayton.

Rain, rain...go away! Let's Play ball!
