Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

TAKE ME INSIDE YOUR SOUL & MAKE IT WEEP FOR ME
Life is a delicate thing. A balance between it and death must be present at all times. For every new breath given, one is taken away.

The child of under a year likely should not have been wandering so far from her riverside home without the supervision of an elder wolf but she had. Now she was roaming somewhere between the northern end of Moladion and her pack with little knowledge of how to care for herself, or how to get back home. She wanders aimlessly through the trees as the blood colored evening turns to the deepest blues of night. Nemesis has travelled too far from home and now the darkness begins to bring out the worst of monsters.

Little fear fluttered within the young girl's chest, for she rarely felt very much emotion at all, though there was worry that she would not be able to feed when the time came. Mother's milk was no longer a necessity and she now craved the tender meat that Father would bring to their den near constantly. Her stomach rumbles lightly in the deadened night as she pauses, her ears swiveling about to catch the sounds of prey.

There was very little she could do if she were to catch said animal, but she would try so that she may be able to survive until morning. Amethyst colored eyes search through the shadows for any type of movement that may give off a lesser creature fit for death. But it is not a vole, nor a raccoon that steals her attention away, but the scent of a much larger being lurking nearby.

Pale toned paws move with all the grace and silence that a puppy could manage, her small form pressing through the bushes to peer at the darkened male who slinks toward a sleeping wolf. She watches silently and with innate curiosity, her head tilting to the side as the massacre unfolds before her. The larger male lunges in for the smaller, younger one and Nemesis' eyes widen as she watches onward at the way his yellowed fangs clench so tightly against the others throat. Ears press forward and one paw moves to take a step as her adrenaline begins to pump through every vein. It is an intoxicating thing to watch and it takes all of the self-reservation in her body to keep from leaping out of the foliage.

The victim struggles, only making its fatal wounds even worse, and within a moment the larger beast decides that it is time. With a quick jerk of his powerful jaws, the youth's neck is severed at the vertebrae and the life leaves him in all forms. Nemesis cannot help but jog so easily from her place now with eyes so intent upon the corpse. She approaches it with an eager look within those optics and with one glance up to the male, she silently asks permission to examine.
