Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

now that i am coming down; won't you be my solid ground?

Sway does her best not to think about what she cannot have, and often pushes such thoughts of her own family out of mind. That was probably not the way the future would unravel for her, and she was almost accepting of the fact. She had so many other things that she did not think she would be able to have, and thus she needed to be thankful for what she did have, and not upset by what she did not. But she was still a wolf like everyone else, and there were still those little cravings for her own children and cuddles from someone that she trusted enough to sleep beside her. Still, she had the consequences from her head injury years past, and that was why things did not work out for her. Sway had tried a few times to make things work, but there were not many who were patient enough with her episodes of memory loss for the hours or days in which it happened. Sway couldn't even blame anyone for that, though. She was embarressed about it all.

She had been in the same place of wandering and wanting to belong somewhere and not fitting in, or being chased away with the idea that perhaps she was simply crazy. Not many bothered to look past what seemed like a bi-polar problem in the highest degree; and when she had tried to explain it to the first few alphas or those with possible interest, it had not been taken very seriously. Or it was taken as some bad omen, or not worth the trouble. Being chased away from a pack life had been difficult enough on Sway, for she was not the kind of wolf that was meant to be alone, wandering from one place to another. She wanted a steady place and lifestyle. She wanted something she could depend on. Which she found in Spirane, as well as the allowance to try to be more than what she was, even though she was not fully the most... healthy, of creatures. Her opinion still mattered to Daenerys, because if it did not, her cousin would never have given her a rank.

It's true that Sway avoids the den she was born in, but it's because the emptiness of it only reminds her of what was gone and she knows it's best not to dwell on that fact. Maybe she would see some of her family again; parents or siblings, but she was aware that her father had been already old at the time of her birth, and that might be less likely if he had gone off. Growing old without a pack was a fearful concept to Sway, and she hoped that wherever her parents were, they had a pack to be safe in. She hoped that for her siblings, too, if that was what they wanted. They were still young enough to roam if that was the path that they chose now, though. They had been healthy of what she can remember of them, so she felt less worried over them. They seemed strong and able enough the last time she had seen them, and in this way she chose to think that they would be fine out in the world, doing whatever it was that they wanted to do. She wished them well on it, too.

The possom was a good enough meal to tide her over, she thinks as she begins to eat, but it's the sound of steps that have her pausing and on edge, unsure what might be lurking and if they wanted to steal away her food. She's tense as she looks up, lets her gaze roam the area. Of course she does spot another form, finding it to be another wolf moving from the shrubbary with his head tilted at her. She blinks at him, but spots the smile and she offers a friendly smile back at him. "Hello. Do you want some?" She asked, and without answer she went to chewing through the possom until a portion of it was seperated from the other, and she nudged this bit of the meal towards the male before grabbing the rest of hers and stepping back from the part that she had offered to him. Sway would probably offer half of her meal to anyone that she came across, but the situation does not often present itself. Either way, he didn't look threatening to her, and hadn't tried to take the whole thing when he saw it there, so why not share?
