Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Arcturus
The Devil pulls the strings which make us dance;
We find delight in the most loathsome things;
Some furtherance of Hell each new day brings,
And yet we feel no horror in that rank advance.
Something was off with his Furian dam. He could sense it in her, sense something beginning to delude her mind. Despite his views and knowledge of the world, he still held an innocence in the ways of sickness. He had yet to see sickness of the mind, a virus so powerful it could ravage Stella's sanity and leave her an empty shell. The skeleton demon was only versed in the ways of body sickness, that left the host weak and susceptible to being purged by the strong. Soon though, soon his mother's strong pillars which had raised him to the highest level of strength would crumble. The black plague inside of her was moving slowly, ready to take the strong and render her weak, shattering the young boys reality completely.

The skeleton demon moved like a serpent over the land, his eyes cold and reptilian as they glide over the land before him. The icy grip of winter was beginning to squeeze tighter and tighter, the threat of a cold death keeping those with weakness hidden away inside of their dens, the warmth the only safety they would have, though even that was not a constant. It was the icy touch that drew Arcturus out however, the silence of the day allowing him the peace to go out and search, search for new knowledge, new secrets. He was already a deadly secret keeper, withholding the knowledge of how Heyel's death had transpired, the angel's constant discord, plans of usurpation, of revenge. It was interesting, driving him further and further into the deepest, darkest secrets that Moladion held close to it's shadows.

Stella was busy dealing with her newest brood, and so the hellfire singed boy kept farther and farther from her. His young half siblings showed little promise, warranting little attention from him, yet his brother Ilias continued to show weakness. The way he shook drew the predator closer and closer, eyes waiting for him to crumble completely before he strikes and keeps his bloodline strong. It had little to do with bloodline though, he would purge weakness from any bloodline, including his own. He would find Segin soon and bring him closer to see their young brother's twitching, the way the other pups seem to over power him constantly. Until he showed any form of strength, he would have a constant shadow.

Arcturus moves with a purpose, the riverside holding a special interest in him this day. He had been there that day, hidden in the shadows when the constant weakness that plagued this world hidden from death by sheer numbers was purged. It had satisfied him greatly to witness the fall of Heyel, led him into curiosity over the wolves who had led him to an ambush and gripped his throat tight. One from Taviora and one from Glorall. He had followed them back to their packs shortly after seeing Achilles come out from the shadows, having witnessed the death of his grandfather by what appeared to be some relatives of his. The skeleton demon was too far away to hear the words shared by the three wolves in Heyel's final moments, but there were a few words brought to him with the wind to make his suspicious of their identities. It was leading up to something big and Arcturus was laying in wait, always watching.

All traces of the angel king had been wiped from Moladion. His blood and scent washed away, his kingdom in disarray, his body rotting in the ground. His death had knocked the wind out of all of Moladion, leaving many without any idea of what to do or how to function. It pleased the furian boy to see the angels, who believed themselves to be superior beings, with their wings clipped. He may share blood with some of them, but he was no angel. His younger siblings were more angel than he with their father being Elijah. It was hard to escape them, and that was another reason why Arcturus hated angels. If, however, they could break away from the angel mold, be like Elijah or the two wolves who killed Heyel, then the skeleton boy was willing to give them a chance.

Big things were about to transpire once more. Arcturus already knew that Achilles was irrational in his thoughts on the world, too corrupted by Heyel and the angel laws. Arcturus knew Achilles would act soon, create chaos in his need for revenge against the inevitable death of the old fool. But it did not worry the young boy, both wolves were capable of standing up against the dethroned prince, rip his wings off for good.

A scent pulls Arcturus moving without realization: the wolf from Glorall. His scent would too have been washed away, yet this was fresh, leading the the young monster to believe that the one who lured Heyel to his demise was near. And so he stalked, completely silent as his cold, dead eyes scanned the brush, looking for the familiar form of the one who intrigued him most. Arcturus wanted nothing more than to pick at this male's brain, explore this wolf's way of thinking. And then he saw him, laying down in the exact same place in where the white angel had been slain, like he was basking in both the sunlight and the memory. Black ears flick curiously as he moves closer until he stands before the male, silently staring. "You are the one who has shaken the very ground of Moladion, all through purging it of it's greatest weakness," It was a statement, an I know who you are, I know what you did, and I am so very intrigued. He had done something that Arcturus could only dream of doing.
