News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

Arthfael
one x natu/fenrir x spirane x unloved

It was rather strange to hear Viserion, who up until now was a complete and total stranger, tell him about what his mother had done before his birth. Honestly Arthfael did not know why Natu was no longer in the mountains, never having thought to ask her that for he had been content where he was. It was only through the ousting of Rhae, Queen of Asteraia, that things had begun to go downhill. Well, maybe it wasn't totally that since Ifrit and Neirin had died previous to such things in what one might consider a freak accident. A bear of all things had cause it all and Arthfael felt a deep sense of wrongness whenever he saw any other bears, as if they too would suddenly come charging. Then his father had taken his brother and some of his cousins off to train and they had been gone for such a long time. Was it normal? He wasn't sure, but it definitely wasn't like it had been in the beginning with all the families together.

He grunts at Viserion's description, his white eyes narrowing as he ponders such words. He knew his mother was attempting, slowly, to rise in Taviora to a sort of generalized rank meant to help all the other ranks. It was strange to think of her as a spy in many regards but she was stealthy and quiet. And fast - just like Ankh was fast. Arthfael was not ever going to be a swift runner like them but he was happy with himself because he had muscle and he would be a protector. A fighter.

Viserion turns suddenly to the water and then Artfhael is there with him, letting his thoughts of his mothers skills float away in the newness of what was before them. They hung with their heads suspended over the water with extreme concentration and when the fish arose to the top again Arthfael's lips peeled back into a exhilarated grin, his head snapping towards Viserion so they could share the moment, his tail wagging in the thrill of finding something new. "Yes!" He agrees heartily when the golden boy suggest they catch it. So they wait, and wait, and wait, and Arthfael can tell that Viserion is growing bored with waiting and thinking of other things but Arthfael is patient.

He will let Viserion tell him whatever he wants while they wait and the moment the golden boy begins to think of a question the fish rises to the surface and Arthfael darts forward, leaping into the water and right on top of the fish. As in belly first so that he pushes the fish even further under and then it zips out from his legs and down the stream and he is left with nothing but wet fur and a disgruntled look as he wades to the edge and climbs out. Then Viserion asks him about his father and Arthfael plops his haunches on the ground. "He was around but he took my brother and some of my cousins to train and has been gone a while. I wish he would come back though. My mom wants to see him and Ankh misses him really bad. Where is your dad?" It is easy to just ask these questions as children and Arthfael expects Viserion to have a father too because didn't all wolves had mates and children with those mates?
