News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

The Elven King

Fortune favored the troubled male as he walked carelessly down the stones, his mind too far in thought to notice Thranduil laying there. The young prince without a kingdom was a light sleeper, ears flicking at the sound of claws clicking upon stone growing increasingly closer. It was quick to wake the boy from his slumber, emerald eyes flashing open in time to see the older male towering over him, his shadow blocking out the sun light a giant to an ant. Thranduil's fur stood on end in warning to the male that he would prefer not to be treaded on this day, for as much as his pelt resembled stone, he was not as sturdy. Thankfully though, the strange male noticed, turning towards him in surprise. Thranduil's eyes narrowed slightly, not out of malice for the male's actions, but rather suspicion. Something was different about him, not quite right, and the tan boy couldn't figure it out.

"My apologies, the strangers says, having moved out of the suns path with a sheepish grin to allow it once more to warm Thranduil like he were a dragon. The male dips his head in a form of apology, almost too apologetic for what was a minor offense in Thranduil's eyes. "I did not mean to get in your way. My mind was simply elsewhere." Thranduil stares at the male for a moment, taking in his unusual appearance: primarily grey and black but marked with white and red like an angel. The young prince is quick to offer him a reassuring smile or smirk of sorts. "Rest easy stranger, for no offense has been taken in this innocent mistake," If the male before him thought he spoke strangely, then he was sure in for a shock with how Thranduil spoke and overall carried himself. Despite his age, Thranduil was already mature.

The small boy rises to tan paws, body momentarily stretching out so he can sit straight. He never allowed his posture to seem rude or anything less than regal. A tan crown tilts curiously as he stares at the distracted male. "I am Thranduil, who might you be?" Thranuil asks, not really intending to have met anyone or started a conversation on this day, but his nap had been ruined and so he needed something else to pass the time, and that something was the stranger that had woken him. This was the first conversation the young crownless prince had had with anyone outside of his family, his interaction with others of the mountain no existent. It wasn't that he was unsocial and was keeping from them, he simply had never crossed paths with another and not had the desire to seek any out. Friendships and connections were a foreign thing to him, they seemed almost frivolous in his mind really.

"You seem distracted, like something weighs heavy in your mind. Care to partake in a stroll with me? Perhaps that can ease your thoughts onto something else?" Thranduil asked, pointing out the males distraction despite it being possibly rude. The young boy wished to walk and he had grown intrigued with the stranger that had almost stepped on him, and so he had opened an invitation for the other to come with.
