Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

The brute was worried that his pack was becoming too quiet again. He knew that Bright Moon had never been a pack that constantly had activity or wolves constantly being up and about and active, but it seemed like the dead of winter again. No newcomers had come for a very long time, and some of the scents that had become familiar were growing stale in the trees. Summer would not judge any being for going off for a time, and they would always be welcome to their home in Bright Moon, but he grew lonely. What he really longed for was a mate, or someone to always be by his side as a companion. He thought that leading the pack would fill that missing void that he felt, but it wasn’t doing it anymore, not when there had been so little activity.

But then again, he couldn’t blame the wolves within Bright Moon’s borders. He had not called to them for a pack meeting in some time, he was overdue for one, and he had not scheduled a group hunt or anything along those lines to bring the pack together. He did see that one of his most trusted soldiers, Scion, had called to the group for battle training. Summer planned on joining in, but he wanted to give the shier male a chance to do it without the alpha being there, to see how he did, but so far no one had come. Summer was just happy that Scion had tried, since he was always so quiet and often seemed unsure of himself. If no one showed up, he would go in and see if Scion wanted to practice the two of them, or perhaps go on a hunt together. Regardless he wanted some time alone with the still mysterious brute to get to know him better, maybe find out why he so often stayed to himself.

The smoky brute had been out visiting Saw Tooth with his beta Misty, happy to see that the pack was still friendly and thriving despite the loss of their old alphess. Cai seemed to be a more than capable leader though and he was sure that she would be a great new alpha to the wolves within their allied pack. His plume waved lazily behind him as he made his way back home, back to Bright Moon. He knew he had been gone for a little while, but he was confident that the pack would still be fine. He was surprised to catch the strong scent of another pack at his borders, one had not interacted with but still recognized, Spring Grounds. He did not know how long the strangers had been there, or what their purpose was, but he immediately turned to the aroma of the unknown wolves. The brute did not have a hostile stance, but his banner was turned up high, head held high as well to show his stature when he approached them. Summer went into his pack first where they were not, circling around so he approached them from the trees in front of them instead of from their side outside the borders where he had been. A small wave of his plume showed he was friendly, though not overly so when he saw that there were four adult vargs at his borders, with none of his own there. It was not that he was frightened of the group, he just did not know why there was so many of them here.

A black femme with her plume wrapped around her paws was at the center of the group, a scarred grey wolf sitting by her side, a cheery looking teen next to the dark female, and a cinnamon colored brute that had remained standing. Summer surveyed the scene, yellow orbs scanning each being before speaking. ”Hello, my name is Summer, alpha of Bright Moon. I am sorry if you have been waiting long, I have been away on business. What brings you to my borders?” He spoke politely to them, but did not sit, wondering why the four Spring Grounds vargs were here.
