Jabberwocky had been looking for his new friend as well, but so far since that day they first met he hasn't seen Dixon at all. He was starting to wonder whether or not he had made the right choice in accepting him as a second, but shakes the thought out of his head. He had to give the other stallion a chance at least, just as others had done for Jabberwocky himself. Putting aside his worries he goes about his day, saying hi to ever silent Soda who was still sulking, and then wanders off to patrol. Though jabs doesn't know why he even bothers the walk about the whole perimeter of his home when he had no ladies to protect; perhaps it was just instinct then?

He moves off toward the lower lands, departing from the Ridge itself to move into the trees that led to the beach, where once upon a time a small colt with a spotty coat had washed up on shore, weak from being tossed about like a rag doll. It's mother, well his mother as well, had been so very overjoyed that her other babe had come back to her. It had been a sad day when they first journeyed here to the Ridge with Nik, only to find out Balderdash had not made the journey. He was Jabberwocky's first friend, and still the draft missed him even though he was somewhere out there hopefully living his own life. With a sigh escaping his dark lips the draft pushes his way past the last of the pretty trees that grew here along the beach, only to come to a stop as his eyes meet the pale frame of a very lovely lady. He blinks, unsure if he was seeing right, because it wasn't everyday that something so beautiful washed ashore. Putting on his best smile he approaches, calling out to the girl.

"Hello there lovely," he chimes in a low tone, so not to startle her, "welcome to the beach; I would say the Ridge but that's a little farther back inland." Jabberwocky chuckles to himself, and then focuses on her again, "My name's Jabberwocky. What brings you here to my home?".
