News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

"Your name shall be carved into legend once my Sword has carved into your chest." ~Song Of Achilles

I will gladly admit, it feels great standing on this rock, like everything's right again with the world. I can almost feel Heyel standing beside me in this moment and it makes my chest swell with pride. I bet wherever he is, he's smiling. When I look to my side, I know who I'll see though and it's just as good. I beam at my best friend and royal guard, the wolf who has always been my closest confidante. Guardian was chosen to be my guard from the beginning, before we were even one year old. He's proven himself to be a loyal friend and trust worthy. He's also not half bad to look at. Not that he can beat me in a looks competition or anything but he's not exactly ugly, I will admit. Must be the Angel blood in his veins. At his words, I straighten up even taller. My eyes glow like neon lights in the sunlight. "He's be proud of you too, Guar. You'll be the best royal guard Moladian has ever seen."

His next words make me grin as I look out toward the borders. I can already see the wolves piling in. Sure, they may not all come back and that's okay. They may not come back all at once, either. I have always respected Guardian's advice and I always will. Even with the Advisor spot empty for now, it shouldn't need to be said that Guardian will always be the wolf I turn to, him and my parents. Of course now with the secret Brotherhood in effect, we have even more wolves to turn to for advice and discussion. Like my own little council. I like the sound of it. My mother looks so sad and small suddenly as she comes to me. She looks about ready to break down when she looks at the rock and I know it will hold both good and bad memories for most of the Angels returning. Heyel's spot was known by all and it's a reminder that he's no longer with us but I believe in some ways, he will never leave. Maybe that's why I picked this spot. My mother's words make me feel jubilant inside and I beam at her, stepping down from my rock to throw my head around her neck in an embrace, pushing my shoulders between her and Kane to embrace them both.

"I'm glad to know I'll always have your support to guide me. If I have anyone to learn from still, it's you two, the best alphas Moladian has ever seen." I whisper the words before licking my mother's cheek. I nudge my father's shoulder softly as I then step back and return to my rock. As my eyes fall onto the love of my life, my tail starts wagging, pride and kingship be damned. My eyes are for her and her alone, the rest of the world falling away as she steps toward me. I can still see the worry in her eyes though for our children and my face wavers. I wish I could take that pain away from her, assure her that they're fine. They're strong, survivors, every last one of them. Anger is fueled once more in my chest. She wouldn't be as worried perhaps if not for wolves like Covet, who have fed hatred against the Angel line to all of Moladian, spreading it like a disease. If someone were to support him and find out their relations to me, who knows what would happen. I keep the anger from showing in my face though. No one needs to see that cloud but those closest to me.

I will not rest until they are found though, not until I know they are safe. I know Vega has never been comfortable around crowds, perhaps something that will come with time as we rule over Diveen together. She seems nervous and still worried about our children. She reaches out to Guardian before reaching my side and I lean into her, wanting to brush my fur with hers and be as close to her as possible. As she licks my muzzle, I smile and nuzzle her before licking her forehead protectively. My eyes find hers for a moment, wanting to relay the silent message. I will find them. I will make sure our children are safe. Don't doubt me. When she moves away, I grumble in protest. The wolves of Diveen can still see me with her at my side. In fact, I want them to see her at my side so they know good and well who their queen is. I move back to her side, pressing up against her stubbornly. If she moves away again, I'll just move with her. No way I'm letting her stand by herself all withdrawn while our pack comes together. She's not getting off that easily.

I see my sister and I smirk at her, my eyes brighter by the minute. I know that she has been there to support our parents while they healed in Spirane, father from his injuries and mother from her broken heart. I supported them the best I could while trying to meet up with the Brotherhood, trying to find Heyel and then working on my challenge for Ambrosia but all in all, she was there for them more than I was and I'm grateful to her for that. She nods her head to me and I return the gesture. "Sister." I greet her good naturedly. She is usually more talkative than this but I'm guessing she's mostly trying to be strong for Isola right now so I leave her be. Azrael and Andromeda are next in my vision and I smile to them, greeting them both with a nod. When Azrael says my name, I smirk a little. ""Uncle Azrael, Aunt Andromeda, what an honor to have you both here." I glance at Azrael. "I have always looked up to you for your deeds in the free lands. I think I have much to learn from you, if you still have time to teach me." If there's anything Heyel taught me enough about, it's sucking up to the right wolves and flattery will get you everywhere.

The next wolf to arrive is one I knew was coming. Solara. I met her on the borders with Hyrule. I can understand her confusion and anger over the whole situation. Who wouldn't be? I know she wants her parents back on the throne but they wouldn't want it anyway. I'm sure they'll explain that to her though. I can't catch the sarcasm in her tone at her words but even so, I don't truly believe them genuine. None of my siblings have ever really been supportive of my title as heir of Diveen. I wouldn't expect it to turn on like a switch now. I raise a brow at her and smirk. "Greetings, Solara. Glad you could make it." Wanting to test her, I step down from the rock and go to her, touching my nose to her cheek in a way much like my own mother used to do. My eyes look into hers, searching for any sign of dissatisfaction or embarrassment even. I'll take what I can get. "Welcome home, sister." I say softly as I step back and step back up onto the rock.

Another wolves comes, this one unknown to me but she looks harmless, younger and smaller and when I see her eyes, my brows furrow in worry. I don't think eyes are supposed to be like that, in case Covet's aren't the only eyes to be all one color. I can see her looking around but is she really looking? Can she see? I watch the way she's walking, so hesitant and odd. I'm guessing she must be blind, at least mostly so. My tail wags and when she stops before me with her tail low and her body showing submission, I step down from the rock automatically to go up to her. "This party is open to anyone who believes in combining the new with the old and the future with the past. If you believe in fresh beginnings with continuing from where you left off then yes, you are welcome here." I smile even though I'm not sure she can see it, not wanting to confuse her. "I would be honored to have you stay in Diveen. I am Achilles. What can I call you?"

I look up only when a familiar scent reaches my nostrils. I see Hyrule and something in my eyes sparks but I don't let anyone else see it. We are supposed to act almost as strangers here, I'm guessing, no one to know just how close we have become in so short a time. When he nods to me, I smirk and return it. "It's great to see you, cousin. Welcome home." I then turn away to look back to the borders, ready to greet the rest of my returning family.
