The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

There was always possible risk to giving out information, but sometimes that information could help, could do some good, and this was the type that might be just that. Therefore Riot had given it to her, thinking that perhaps it might ease her into giving some to him if there was anything to fill in the blanks. He had a few of his own, but they had so many holes that he wasn't sure they would be helpful to openly discuss. If the female knew more on the matter, then Riot could try and put some of the puzzle pieces together, but as of yet... he was just going to wing it and see if they had much to share with each other. With the fact Asteraia had been taken by the group of attacking creatures, it would not be hard to seek them out. Yet no one had tried, and that part was simply not Riot's job.

Nor was he really interested in meeting more messed up relatives, because he felt he had enough of that on his plate already. He would leave that stuff to someone else. There were no revenge plans for Riot, because anything done was too complex or too long ago done to really do anything about now. It left some hollow ache within him, sure, but Riot needed to be practical about things. Try not to be too impulsive with most things if he could help it. Still, he had given up some information to see if she would have any in return, and to show that he had enough for revenge if had had any intention of it. Aithne had enough as well, and he only knew of one plan for any kind of revenge, and it was for Paldor and thus probably not even on this female's scanner.

He did see her grin at the labels he had applied to those without names that he knew of, and in that it seemed fairly obvious that she knew exactly to whom he was referring. And when she spoke, it made that more apperent to him. She seemed amused by the name 'Scarface', and it sounded rightly given by the descriptions of the creature now ruling Asteraia. The female speaks of Aithne's residence and he nods once to that; this was a known fact to most. And Riot was fine with telling Aithen about 'the Burnt One's' words of others. There was a good amount of stuff known by this female, and when she asks if he is satisfied of this, he smiles a little. "Yes, I suppose it does. Thank you." He responded evenly, thinking of what information she had given him.
