News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

"Your name shall be carved into legend once my Sword has carved into your chest." ~Song Of Achilles

I know I haven't seen this sister in a long time so she probably has no idea about everything that's been going on with Covet. Of course she could have been just hiding out in another pack but what's the fun in that? No angel should have to hide. She seems restless about something, probably the new scents at the borders confusing her. Kane and Isola's scents are probably long gone by now, covered by Covet's foul stench and then Ambrosia's more flowery one on top of that. A pretty potent mixture but at least I'll be able to wash all that away soon enough. I'm sure it was also quite odd to be approached by none other than our own Heyel look-alike. Hyrule would be enough to make any wolf think they're crazy. His white coat and violet eyes are so right on for Heyel that he could be his clone. He's not half off personality-wise either. From where I am as I arrive, I can just make out her name but not the rest of the introduction. Not that I would need to hear it. Just knowing her name would lay everything out for me.

She was born in my parents' second litter alongside Solaris just as I thought. Solara. I knew her name was close to his. How unoriginal but then I wasn't old enough then to advise them on more original names for the rest of their children. She touches her nose to Hyrule and I wrinkle my nose. This is one angel tradition I'd rather do without on most occasions. I get it that my mother was never shy about showing affection to her pack wolves but can you imagine where everyone's noses have been? That's a lot of germs all in one place and then touching them all? That's one way to get the sniffles all the time and you can count me out. I'd rather teach everyone how to high five or something. She looks confused, tilting her head, and I can only guess Hyrule has told her about everyone coming back or something to that accord. She seems more restless than ever now and I can make out her questions, asking what happened. I know Hyrule will get the chance to answer before I'm fully there yet so I hold my tongue.

Her words to myself are hardly that to a king but luckily she's family so I'll let it slide just this once. I smirk. "So nice of you to notice." I say proudly. I'm used to the jealousy of my siblings. They all wanted the crown for themselves and everyone's got an excuse on why it should have been them in the first place but the fact remains that I was first born, therefore made it my right and Heyel chose me himself to succeed the throne after my mother. At her questions, I nod. "You're right, they wouldn't. Unfortunately, there was no reason for them to stay." I turn my gaze to Hyrule, already sure that he'll elaborate more and make her understand. He's always been good with words, something he proved to me in the caverns not too long ago. I find it simply hilarious that Covet has decided to challenge Spirane next after Diveen. As if he was bored or something waiting for his challenge to me or maybe he's starting to have second thoughts because I'm not failing so much as he did on the throne. Either way, the stories are common knowledge of the last wolf who did what he's doing. Purge. She ended up being chased out of Moladian by Isola, Kane, and Daenerys. Has he not heard this tale? Maybe I should send Hyrule to give him a lesson in history and how it tends to repeat itself.

I listen as Hyrule asks about her litter mates. He knows of the link to Solaris himself but he doesn't know how important that link is. No one does because no one else know what I know. I can only smirk and roll my eyes a little as Hyrule tells her he'll make the story brief. I somehow know that's not going to be the case but I leave him to it anyway, taking a seat to make myself comfortable. I snicker under my breath when he calls Covet a burro. That's a good one, almost better than beetle. When he pauses, my ears flicker in puzzlement but then I see his face. He does like his dramatics, doesn't he? How...like Heyel. He only seems to remind me of him more and more with the time I spend in his company. My smirk only grows when he points out what Guardian and I said to Covet and how he took it as an insult. He does have a way with words. He chuckles and my eyes twinkle with glee. He goes on into the rest of it and I nod in agreement at some parts to let her know its the truth and I scowl in disappointing facts, like the one that my father lost the fight or the one that Ambrosia was set to have children with Covet's brother. I give him a look only when he talks about when I took the throne. I snort.

"More like half an hour ago. I've been busy marking the borders."I huff. I scowl again when he mentions Covet challenging Spirane for shelthering Guardian and I. For all the idiotic excuses to fight someone, that's one of the worst. Almost worse than fighting my father because I was rude to him. I shake my head and snort. "The only crime is allowing him to still make decisions for himself. If his family cared for him at all, they'd go ahead and officially announce his dementia so wolves can learn to take his words with a grain of salt." My tail flicks in irritation before I turn my gaze to Solara. "So, dear sister, do you plan on staying to contribute or are you just passing through?"
