I want to make sure she knows I'm coming so I go against all my natural instincts of stealth and make noise in my approach. I'm still not completely sure that she is blind, just that from the glassy look of her eyes and the way she couldn't seem to look at anyone fully made it seem like she could be. I don't want to assume and yet I don't want to scare her either so I figure it's best to announce my approach. She smiles as I get close and my own lips twitch in response. That's a good sign anyway. She giggles at my words before twisting the words in her reply, using hear instead of see and it's not lost on me. Perhaps a clue to answer my unspoken question? My ears flicker. "Your own generosity is much more appreciated, Heartless. I know you may not know a lot about what's been going on with this wolf, Covet, but I hope in time you will come to understand the gravity of what you have given me and this pack. You have proven yourself in half the time as I would have expected and for that, you are more than worthy to be Diveen's Phantom Angel."

She wags her tail and remains seated so I take a seat myself across from her, curling my tail around my haunches. It is odd to have to use so much of the second language I learned growing up over the first. There was a time when I couldn't speak to mom or dad without using Latin but I learned early on that most of the other wolves of Moladian would have no idea what I'm talking about so I took up lessons with dad to learn proper english as well. Now I have to communicate myself to my pack in this language and yet it still feels foreign on my tongue most of the time. When alone with Guardian, I tend to indulge myself more, knowing he can understand Latin just as well as I can thanks to uncle Azrael. I only use Latin with Vega when I'm singing to her now. As she states her next words, I raise a brow expectantly but catch myself. Of course she can't see me to know I'm silently asking her to continue. I smile.

"Do not apologize. No favor is too big for you to ask of me. Ask away." I shake my head a little. Habits are hard to be rid of and I assume I'll just continue using facial expressions and other gestures even if she can't see them. She smiles and my lips twitch again. She really does have a very telling smile, a contagious one at that. And then she answers the question that's been on my mind since I met her. My eyes widen only slightly before I recover, even though I keep telling myself that it doesn't matter anyway cause she can't see it. I nod in agreement. "I could hardly have you come to harm on my watch as it were, Heartless. I shall have a wolf that I trust sent to you as a guide pronto. I hope that you come to learn this land as your home, a place you can feel safe."

She giggles again and I snort softly in response. Such a great outlook on life she has for someone who can't see its beauty for herself. But it's good to keep your spirits up. It's a shame really that my brother Haziel is not around anymore. Being blind himself, he could have easily related to her. I tilt my head, listening as she continues. She has a preference for a female. I'm assuming she's just more comfortable with someone of her own gender. She makes me smile when she mentions Vega for who else's perfume would be so tightly wound into my coat hairs? I contemplate this for only a moment before I nod my head. "I think that's a great idea, Heatless. I think it would do both of you some good to get to know each other. Vega is a little on the shy side so some one on one time with another female should help bring her out of her shell. I shall let her know accordingly and get her to meet you. Is here fine?"

I figure it would only make things more awkward to call my mate to us and make the introductions myself. Vega might end up depending on me to stick around so I think it best if I find her and explain what's needed then let her go out to meet with Heartless so they can have a private introduction and get to know each other. Proud of my own logic, I wag my tail and grin. Now that I have that idea in my mind, I turn my focus back to Heartless. "So, tell me about yourself, Heartless. Were you born in Moladian or did you travel here? Were you alone?" I figure I can get to know her a little better before I go, give a little and ask a little. I'll share for everything she tells me and I'll answer any questions she might have.
