Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

* is but a dream within a dream

"All that we see or seem, is but a dream within a dream."

Running from Carnifex, she knew, would be a bad decision. One that she wouldn't live long to regret if she did so without complete certainty that he couldn't get to her. It wasn't like she had allies though, save her brother, and she wasn't exactly sure where he had gotten off to himself. So she was stuck with him and really it wasn't all that bad. Even if he was grumpy at times. At moments she almost fancied he looked upon her with a sort of longing or maybe it was just desire. It didn't really matter in the end, she decided, it wasn't like Carnifex was looking for a mate or anything. Would that keep her safe? Who knew with him. Still, at times when she wasn't hating him for bossing her around (because Malleah hated to be bossed around) she would find herself watching him. His body was a thing made from the gods, perfect and strong and large. Fluid muscles, thick hips, built to defend and to fight. It set her blood aflame.

Right now, though, she was trying to irk him. Except that she really was tired and needed to rest for a bit, her tiny body was not built for such extreme stamina as his. He was hungry, and like some beast from below, he could eat and eat and eat without apparent end. Malleah, on the other hand, was full on a simple average hare. There was the fact that he wouldn't let her out of his sight either and she hadn't convinced him of her vow thus far so she wasn't even going to try that tactic today.

Her little playful smirk turns into a half frown at his veiled hint of their upcoming winter months. It did worry her somewhat because he was such a vigorous male and the other males she had been with were satisfied rather quickly, preferring to sleep and hunt afterwards. No doubt he would have her endure his attentions (although she secretly looked forward to such things) then demand she get up and help him get food. Or at least accompany him. "Hmph," she grunts dismissively with a calculating gleam in her eye as she looks at him, thinking he won't join her. Then his next words, so solemn, and her own smile comes back, more amused this time. "It is no lie that you are handsome devil. A devil nonetheless, though. Still, others won't bother me with you by my side," she says coyly, chuckling slightly.

She is surprised when he begins to climb up to her rock - well, jump, for he is much larger - and her body stiffens even as she makes herself face forward and not watch him. Maybe if she offered a little trust to him then he would do the same to her. Still the moment his nose begins to part her fur she trembles, her body turning to flame beneath his touch. She expects that he will take her trembling for fear but it is truly her own desire, the touch of danger adding to the situation, and when his maw stops at the base of her neck she breathes out slowly lest she begin panting in a wanton manner. "Have you, beast?" She counters with a flick of her ear back to face him, her head turning only slightly so that he can see the corner of one eye glance back at him.
