It was true that Aldonza was new enough to Spirane, but there was also the fact that she did not often explore the mountains to see what all they had to offer. It was a long way up to the tops, and a lot of effort to put into going that far. Not to mention that going up alone was not really a fond idea of Aldonza's. She would be much more inclined to go with company, but of late company was a little sparse as far as around her age went. Or perhaps they were often too busy to bother with her. She liked to think that some of them were just too in awe of her to approach, and later on they would find the courage to do so.

She just had to be patient and wait it out. Her time would come, she just had to wait for it and be ready. To be looking her best when it did arrive. A day to look forward to, though she would make haste to go up to another if she saw them out and about alone, just as she had when it came to Ankh, whom she had just met, and already liked quite a bit. Aldonza thought Ankh would make a grand friend, and she already planned on this being so. Sure, she would probably have to inform the girl about what she had decided sooner than later, but first, Aldonza would spend some time and make sure.

If only she knew the thoughts going through Ankh's mind about being clean and well groomed, she would only be more sure that this was the right choice, that a good friendship could bloom from hanging out today. Yet there would probably be a few different reasons as the time went by, and Aldonza was looking forward to them. When Ankh spoke of seeking out her brother to demand to see the caverns, Aldonza was almost about to interject that she wanted to tag along if that was the case, and yet, Ankh had another idea in mind. Them finding the caverns. A proper adventure! Yes, Aldonza was game for that.

She grinned at Ankh and nodded rapidly. "Yes, let's do that!" She responded, quite pleased by the idea of this little adventure of mountain caverns. That was what she had to say on it; a big yes, because she wouldn't give up the chance to have some fun. She could only hope there wouldn't be any kind of slime or gross things in those caverns.. but she'd deal with that if it came up, and for now she would allow herself to be excited at the entire thing. So along she went, following Ankh with a gentle twitch of her tail, wondering what they might find up the mountain.

It did not occur to her right off that Ankh might not be quite fit for the long venture up the mountain, for those not used to the thinner air might have a more difficult time. Aldonza had to admit that she was grateful for her time spent here and the fact it had offered her strong limbs to climb with, and lungs that could deal with the change of air pressure. Ankh's words said this to her, and when the question was posed, Aldonza shrugged a little. "Some months, I guess. But not quite as nimble as a goat... yet. But I plan to be." She said firmly, wanting to be even more graceful than any dumb goat.
