News - 6/19/21
Summer is here and Fall is short around the corner. There is unrest as it stands but, perhaps it is to our advantage. Let no one question our strength. Those who wish to speak on rank, seek me out. If anyone wishes to put a hunt together inform me. Adults or others who wish to rise in rank may seek me out.

We laughed at fate and mourned her;

The dynamic relationship between the two seemed to be quite different than what a normal imprint relationship would be. In most cases the relationship between the two should be more on the romantic side, but sadly, there was no romantic gestures between the two. Hardly either of them had some sort of idea of romance in their body and certainly not in the twisted corners of their minds. Romance was not an issue for either one, because love was not something either of them understood. In other imprint relationships both parties were completely in different between the two where there was completely zero romance, because they would not allow such a thing to be the complete focus – especially they had a mate they adored more so than each other. Imprint relationships were fickle. Their particular imprint relationship was indeed odd, and yet, it was indescribable and neither one seemed to be at complete unease about it. Tobias had his own demons to conquer when Tick Tock was close, and Tick Tock did not have the urge to kill him and free herself from this weakness. For some reason they seemed to work out minding their differences with one another, not troubled with having to think long and hard about such trivial things as others. His lowered growl of greeting was familiar and she did not flinch from it. Content to feel his blackened frame press against her own as she finished up cleaning the cut on his face. Bringing herself to stand in front of their new prisoner she was puzzled as to why he chose her and yet she seemed unbothered. Her half torn ear twitched as she heard the sound of Fiammetta’s muzzle slam shut and the wheezing laughing sound cease. Her dial would turn around as Fiammetta spoke about her imprint, his blackened form lounging in the dead fields in a puppyish manner – he hardly seemed to care. Turning her dial back around her cool indifferent words tumbled out gently, those dark blue eyes looking at the one red orb.

“Physical wounds can heal, but mental wounds take longer time to heal, besides – you lost.”

It was easy for Tick Tock to always carry zero emotions on her mauled face. The claw marks from her Father, and the other set from the mountain lion, seemed to be perfectly placed over the different muscles that could be moved to show off her emotions. Lucky for her she didn’t have to mask her emotions, her face was ruined, and so she would always look apathetic. It was a blessing and a curse. Imagine never being able to show true happiness? Always her façade would remain looking unresponsive, no matter what anyone did to inflict some sort of emotional response from her. Her attention remained solely on Tobias’s new toy thinking that perhaps she should called for that odd white wolf that knew about healing. She did not want the young wolf to just heal Tobias, but she wanted him to look over Fiammetta too. Her half torn ear twitched when she heard the other speak and for this moment her thoughts on how she was going to get that white wolf healer to come was halted. Quietly she listened looking as unemotional as a rock as Fiammetta attempted to use her words to attack. When she was done with her speech Tick Tock stared at her, those cold eyes borrowing into that one red orb as she slowly, and easily, tore up everything Fiammetta said, her cold lyrics pouring out smoothly like poison.

"Just because you and I can speak well does not mean Tobias is not able. Just because he thinks and acts differently does not make him dumb or stupid - he is clever and smart in his own way - perhaps even more than we ever could be."

For a moment she would turn her dial to make sure that he was still where he was. She could not show her emotions physically, but her eyes could speak. Fiammetta could not see her eyes, since her head was turned away, those dark sapphire colored eyes looked into his emerald gaze with an emotion that perhaps Tobias would never understand, and neither would she. But when she turned her head back towards Fiammetta those dark sapphire eyes returned to showing nothing more than the cold embers that burned with fierce protectiveness. Her voice remained strong as once again those cold lyrics poured out so smoothly, her voice still soft, and yet evidently firm.

"Tobias is not lame nor was he maimed...if he was then he wouldn't be here now, would he? He is able to walk perfectly fine and continue living life normally. You only gave him a limp and he will be without a limp before Winter’s first touch of snow. As for telling others he was attacked by a wolf half-his size...you are the victim and you lost - you would only be showing your own weakness and vulnerability."

A rough snort was given when she shook her head not liking the sound of ‘subjects’ being described by those that lived within the fields. This place was not going to be an empire that spoke of justice and power. Rather this was going to be a place for all wolves, of any kind, to live in. There were wolves here that were like her and Tobias – unable to live amongst the ones that wanted to see them dead. There were a few wolves here like Starshade and Galileo that simply wanted to belong somewhere, where they could be comfortable. All wolves, of all walks of life, were welcomed here and she did not want them to ever feel as if they were nothing more than ‘subjects.’ They were far more than that, they meant far more to her. She was not accepted by her own pack, and the few wolves that lived here it was almost as if they were proclaiming they trusted her. She was accepted here and she would do what she could to keep this place safe for them. Fiammetta could go to them if she wished and she could spin whatever yarn she wanted to do, but she wanted to make it abundantly clear to the burned wolf – that her pack would never be labeled ‘subjects.’

"I do not think the wolves as my 'subjects' we are all the same, but the difference is I hold the rank of Alpha and they don't. I do not call myself a Queen, a Lady, or an Empress, I have never given myself such a fancy high title. The wolves that call themselves with such a thing are the ones that don’t deserve the title at all. The individuals that call this place home are my pack mates and they will never be seen anything lower than that in my eyes.”

For a moment there was a spark of amusement in those cold eyes as Fiammeta spoke of her name. Ah, her name. No one in her pack had asked about her name. They had come asking more importantly about what was to happen to their home. This was there place and she did not want to ruin that. Her main concern was to show those that lived here that no matter what this would be there home and she would see to it that it would remain so – no matter what. Her name was not important to them and so she never gave it to them. Not once did either of them approach her and ask and she never bothered to give it. They seemed far more interested in the black hellion that was behind her than herself and so she did not bother. As for what her name was well, it was a sound. It was a sound that one would hear in all things – everyone had a heartbeat that ticked away and only when it stopped ticking did their time end. It was a name that was clever, her name was a sound and it was not something to be said, but rather listened to. Her black lips would part halfway over her jaws, an attempt to make a grin, as she responded in a more sly-amused manner.

"As for showing weakness or cowardice in regards to not revealing my name - no one has ever asked me for it here. Besides...my name is not as others...it is a sound, my name is not something you say. It would make sense if you understood."

What she spoke was the truth and if Fiammetta could not understand or refused to believe then that was her choice. Yet Tick Tock was not going to allow the girl to think that she had the upper hand. Fiammetta was not looking at the big picture and she was not allowing herself the chance to think completely outside the box. All young wolves, apparently, are incapable of doing such a thing and it was time Fiammetta was given a lesson. Fiammetta had built herself a perfect coffin and each time Tick Tock spoke she slammed a nail in it. This would be the final nail that landed in Fiammetta’s self-made coffin, and perhaps this might force the girl to actually think for a change.

"Tobias will attack you if you harmed those that live here, including myself, I will always hold more worth than you ever could- you may have a dark knight, but I have a King. But here is something you did not realize - you are under my protection as well."

Fiammetta’s physical display of dominance would not be tolerated in Tick Tock’s eyes for many reasons. First thing, Fiammetta was a prisoner and was forced to be here as such, and she was defeated in her fight. Secondly, Fiammetta was badly injured and she did not overcome Tobias. Thirdly, Fiammetta was weak and weakness was something Tick Tock could not tolerate. It wasn’t that difficult for Tick Tock to strike her neck forward, like a viper, as her jaws parted and snapped so quickly over Fiammetta’s muzzle in the most archaic way to show dominance. Her jaw would tighten as she lowered her head forcing Fiammetta to do the same in this show of submission in such a humiliating fashion. Tick Tock did not need to raise her head nor did she have to raise her tail. There was no growl or snarl that was emitted. This silent and forceful submission was her way of making Fiammetta understand – that she was not dominant here. When Tobias was done with whatever he wanted to do to Fiammetta to make it clear that she was not the dominant one here, Tick Tock would let go. Dark sapphire eyes looked upon Fiammetta with the same eerily indifference as before, there was no spark of satisfaction in doing what she did in her eyes, there was no smirk on her black lips, and there was no goading words offered. Tick Tock just stood there silently, her subtle appearance of dominance, and that unnerving stare with a face that could not show emotion, were just ways to show that she was not like other wolves, she was a Monster for a reason…and it wasn’t because she chose to be…it was what she had to be. After all – it was Fiammetta’s display that caused her to react as she did…because that was what Fiammetta wanted to have some sort of justification – to have Tick Tock be a monster – right?
