Sad? I would have thought that, however autistic one is, being (one of) the best in the world at something, whether it's riding a bicycle up a hill, hitting a tennis ball, or knowing how to sequence letter tiles, is worthy of a little happiness.
I think it's a bit surprising (especially here) to single out people whose aptitude is mental rather than physical for the epithet "sad". Is there any evidence to suggest that he's sadder than, say, Chris Froome? Replies:
