“I speak in a manner that is the most appropriate for time constraints and I assume as an adult you are capable of remembering my questions as they are asked and formulating answers one at a time with similar efficiency- that being brief and pointed. If not I suggested you simply listen faster else consider taking my class in how better to facilitate hearing to maximise your listening capabilities.”

It is another rush of speech poured towards the unfortunate Kane with such gusto that the male is no doubr left stupefied once more before Pan suddenly pauses to meet his gaze, black eyes agianst blue, waiting for some indication Kane’s inferior mind had managed to gleam the notion of this conversation before waiting for the male to blunder into something akin to an answer, eyes narrowing slightly in displeasure at the lack of conviction in Kane’s words- though for now he allows his mind to focus elsewhere, interjecting rapidly again.

“I am one of eighteen and I have lost each and every relative, including my parents- most are dead, one or two may still live outside Moladion I am unsure though I have concluded that we are merely conditioned to believe we need our siblings more then we do. Nature assures that we breed strength and thusly the strong amongst us survive.”

His shoulder roll in a shrug, voice unemotional entirely, factual and clear in each word- seemingly oblivious to the delicate emotions of such a topic and yet Pan has never truly understood such things- he means no disrespect in his words, he simply states it as it is having no real desire to offend- though he often does. The rest of Kane’s words however- seem to intrigue the male.

“How interesting that you have been so successful and your siblings have not- I have long wondered if success can be based upon blood. I believed not- until the Angels and the Moutainborne. The line of Heyel, a line to which you have contributed, has seen success like no other blood. I do not believe, however, that blood necessarily carries success but that certain inheritable traits make those of certain lines more likely to succeed, provided they are also in a suitable environment. How do you feel about that? Do you belive that those descended from Heyel are born to rule?”

The talk of the heir, Achilles, sees Pan content to listen once more. The choice perhaps, to name the first born heir in this case was a logical one. After the fall of the sky many have failed to conceive, many failing to have more than one child if they were lucky enough to do so and as such- in fear of no further children logic indicated Achilles must be named heir. Heyel, apparently having little to do with this choice though supporting it regardless.

“Isola was not the first born child though, this I know, why is it so she was then named heir by Heyel?”
