She was annoyed at the lack of a den found for the upcoming Winter, but more frustrated that she could not find a decent one in the woodlands than anything else. Perhaps if she had focused more on one elsewhere it would have been found by now, and she would be fixing anything about it she didn't quite like. However, the woodlands was where she was much more comfortable, and thus this was where she wanted to find the right den. It was not looking great, and Raptor was ready to start digging her own den to ensure it was where she wanted it. Not the most practical of things, though. At least Raptor was aware of that fact, though she felt stubborn in the idea that she would have to be forced to choose something elsewhere.

Raptor knew that Lex was continuing to search the wooded area in hopes to find the elusive 'right' den, and it was an appreciated gesture. Her mother was aware of Raptor's draw to the foliage, but everyone had their limits, and Raptor was sure Lex would soon enough reach hers in the matter. It had left Raptor to search more furiously among the trees and shrubbary, and lash out at the smaller creatures who crossed her path. She was getting into a riled state of being, which couldn't be good for when she met others along the way. Raptor had realized that strangers could be an enriching part of her life if it was the right creature. Like that one girl. Scarlett. They had played around, which was something Raptor had almost forgotten about.

Her mother was up ahead some meters or so, but Raptor wasn't really paying much attention to this fact. She was more interested in tracing any scent of foxes or anything like that in which to try and steal their den away to dig out into something more proper for herself and her mother. There was an animal scent of sizable proportions up ahead, and so she started out to follow it to see if it had made a den anywhere close. Yet the path took her closer to where her mother had gone, and Raptor decided she might as well see if her mother was trailing it as well, or to see if she could get her mother to come along... Or this was the thought until she saw why her mother was no longer wandering along. A male up ahead; a large one. This caused Raptor to swiftly move to Lex's side and nudge her mother's shoulder in silent question on the matter. Should she stay, or go along?
