I SURVIVED BECAUSE THE FIRE INSIDE NAME: Waishano GENDER: Male AGE: Adult APPEARANCE: Waishano means white wolf and that's exactly what he is. He's a bulky wolf cloaked in ivory. His fur is not as pristine or bright as snow though. It is thick and remarkably soft given his profession though its in less than immaculate condition It's dull in coloration, mottled with random shades of sienna and flecks of grey. Dirt and blood often stains his pallid pelt. He's the stereotypical definition of masculine. Hard, thick muscles ripple through his body, proof of him being in marvellous physical condition. Almost bear-like, he has thick, powerful thighs and a massive neck and head. Despite his heavy weight and large build, he is not quite as tall as some due to his genetics. Dozens of scars litter his flesh. Most of them are hidden by his fur but some are glaringly obvious. A section of his right ear was ripped off, giving it a forked appearance. His eyes are a vibrant golden hue. PERSONALITY: Waishano is solid and dependable. He's a warrior and a righter of wrongs. A bringer of justice, a masked, though brilliantly burning, rage towards persecution and injustice fills him and keeps him going. He is a highly dominant male that lives by his own family's set of honor and will risk anything to help others, especially if they are smaller or weaker than him. It is not uncommon for him to go completely out of his way to help others. Personal freedom is very important to him. He's protective and slow to anger, but should you unleash his fury, be warned. He was trained to a warrior and there is nothing like the spirit of war's fury. He does not forgive and he certainly does not forget. He may be slow to act but that's only because he is planning and sorting out even the tiniest of details. The idea of respect was burned into him at a young age so he will show a certain level of respect until someone proves that they are utterly undeserving. He offers blunt honesty and loyalty and demands to receive it in turn. Once you prove yourself worthy, his loyalty in unparalleled. He will do anything he has to to please those he finds worthy, unless it involves harming an innocent or stripping himself or others of their freedom without a very good reason. An outspoken man, his thoughts rarely ever go unheard. He often butts heads with rulers he feels are incompetent, especially if he deems them to be tyrants. Serious and duty bound when necessary, he is a hardworking wolf - almost to a fault. He tends to overwork himself by working until he is literally so fatigued that he can either rests or keel over. Though his appearance could be perceived as intimidating, he's Outgoing, warm, and compassionate. He's quite a flirt but isn't known to indulge in one-nighters as he's waiting to find his Hamaneeia. Don't get me wrong, he's full of carnal desire but he refuses to act on it. Anymore. For a while, he was prone to act on his urges but he found them to be lacking in intimacy which is what he truly craves. All in all, he's a passionate and sensitive man with a sensitive side he rarely ever shows. He is a hopeless romantic even if he's scared to ever get involved again due to the legend he was named after. Though his romantic nature may be ideal for some, he has the potential to become too clingy and far too jealous. He may even overreact and blow things out of proportion occasionally. He may come off as slightly sexist without meaning to be but not because he believes that women are beneath him or his sex. It's just that he believes that women are delicate flowers that are to be protected and cared for so he may not know how to react around a strong-willed, independent woman.Tough love is what he was brought up with and tough love is what he shows - to an extent, especially towards children. He is gentle and understanding with the very young but as they age, he is not against giving out punishments. While usually a charismatic character, he is dual-natured. There will be times when he is plagued by self-loathing and his self-confidence will be almost nonexistent. He won't believe that he is good enough for anyone or anything. He'll believe that his existence is troublesome to others and that bad luck follows him wherever he goes. When his depressive side takes over, he spends more time alone than around others in a strange attempt to keep them away from his darker side. Even when his self-proud is gone, though, his pride in his family name burns bright. HISTORY: His father was an infamous warrior who died in battle shortly before he was born and his mother was a lowly servant who had caught his fancy and ultimately captured his heart. Luckily for his mother, Waishano was the only pup who escaped the womb because he was enormous, even as a newborn whelp. Believed to be the reincarnation of the spirit of war, the warriors of his tribe took him away from his mother and began his training as soon as he was just barely old enough to be weaned. With harsh paws and serious tones, they sculpted him into the creature he ultimately became. Weakness was not allowed as the tribe prided themselves on their members' strength. Kindness was a blessing that was rarely ever bestowed upon him but, when it was, it was only after he emerged victorious from a spar or a hunt. This led him to believe that kindness could only be obtained through proving himself to be the best. When you are named after the spirit of war, people tend to expect a great deal from you. He pushed his limits, eager to please and shine, much like his father had. He excelled and the elders were proud. His mother watched his growth from afar, visiting when the warriors and elders allowed. Once his training was complete, he was sent away to complete a task to prove himself truly worthy to be a true warrior of the tribe (they called their packs tribes there). His travels led him to Blossom Forest where a new chapter in his story is yet to unfold. OTHER: He speaks both English and Comanche since he is based off the Comanche legend of Waishano which goes as follows: "There is a legend of a white wolf, the spirit of a warrior who has been destined to spend an eternity in battle. The legend also tells of the spirit of peace, whose love for the wolf was the only thing strong enough to allow him to refuse to fight. Their names were Waishano and Hamaneeia. Waishano knew the only way for him to find happiness was to be with her. The two shared a love powerful enough to stand the test of time. Because their love did not allow for a balance in the world it was forbidden and they were forced to spend lifetime after lifetime finding each other and yet never being allowed to be together. The legend states that each generation the spirits of Waishano and Hamaneeia are passed into the bodies of mortals and until the day comes when Waishano and Hamaneeia can be together it shall continue to happen. Some who know the legend believe that their destiny can not be changed and that the two spirits will continue searching for each other until the end of time. Others believe that once a physical love occurs that matches the love the spirits share the cycle will be broken. It is believed that once a physical love approaches the level of the love shared by the spirits, the world in an attempt to maintain the balance will do everything in its power to destroy it.
