Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Everyone has a darkside....

Family had never truly been striker's scene, her family's ideals made her even less of a match for them. she never truly believed that blood content mattered; and that was probably what mainly put her at odds with her family, if not the ridicule, then the fact that they wanted an arranged mateship with a bloodline just as 'noble' as theirs. Striker wouldn't have any of it. She hated when one believed themselves higher than another over something so trivial. She had run away, and she didn't regret it. Part of her wanted to show her family what blood really was; red gooey stuff that pumped through their veins, nothing more. She had never been the violent type, only the trickster, but she still got dark urges especially if it came to putting somebody in their place. So instead she had acted out by not fulfilling her true potential, and when that eventually failed had left. If there was one thing that she knew in this world it was dark urges and anger, and this seemed to be exactly what Solitaire was experiencing.

When she had looked in his den she couldn't help but wonder what possibly could have put him in such a pitiful state, however now didn't seem like the smart time to ask exactly what it is; and perhaps if this conversation goes the way she hopes then he might just volunteer the information. But it also made her angry to know he'd been hurt in such a way, which was unusual for her; yes she'll admit it she has a hair trigger and a sharp tongue to match, but normally those were only in her defense, never for someone else's. There was a long sigh from him when she made herself known, though she did recognize tension at first, and frowned at her answering her question before asking one of his own. She was a bit caught off guard by his question; all she really had been doing was follow weird feelings and strange sensations. "That’s an answer I’d like to know myself; I know why I came, but why I’m here is a little more obscure to even me. I came because I was feeling weird things and tugs, when I followed the tugs they led me here." She said with a quiet rough laugh and then looked down at her paws, waiting only a long moment before continuing. "But I’m glad I came, even if there's nothing I can really do or everything I can do. Listen I know I haven't been around much and stuff, I’ve just never been really good at this 'bond' thing and have only gotten worse. Gah, I guess what I’m trying to say is that I’m sorry." she says a bit loudly as she gets irritated with her own rambling. 'That was too loud, ' She looks around with her ears back and head ducked in case any passerby heard her. ‘And I don't get why I have such trouble talking to him if I talk to my victim’s words come with ease. ‘ She sat waiting for his response in anxious silence.

Can you love me for mine?"
