HOLD YOUR HEAD ABOVE WATER NAME: Vesper GENDER: Female AGE: Pup APPEARANCE: The runt of the litter, Vesper is a fragile-looking thing. Not only is she tiny in stature, but she is also slender in frame. Once she is fully grown, she will be only slightly smaller than the average female but while she's a pup, others will appear to tower over her. As she grows, her body will take on an even more feminine appearance. Lean muscle adorns her small body. It's clear that she wasn't made for war but rather for speed. Her thin pelt is comprised of shadows; shades of black and dark greys make up her pelt. As a babe, it will be unruly but as she matures, it will grow in softer and thicker. Her right eye is cerulean and her left is a very, very pale shade of blue that is nearly white. The color clearly marks her inability to see out of that eye, a fault she was born with. PERSONALITY: A timid little runt with a devout belief in the great spirit that will only grow stronger as she ages, Vesper believes that she is, somehow, at fault for the defect that she was born with. Due to this, she is always trying to redeem herself in whatever way she can. She tries to be the best at everything she possibly can. Her love and respect for others is unwavering. Between that and her yearning to redeem herself, she does as she is told by her family with little to no questions asked. Being a mere pup, she has little knowledge of how cruel life can be. Due to this, she believes that there is goodness and kindness in every sinner. She looks past the evil that others show, believing that they're just trying to hide their soft side. She's shy, timid even. She is a humble soul known for her gentleness. You will never hear her boast about herself. She will, however, shower others with compliments. She is fairly intelligent but it's hard to tell due to how shy she is. She loves to help others in any way she can. Her creative nature tends to help her come up with surprises for those she loves. She is a strange creature ruled entirely by her emotions, appearing to exist emotionally rather than rationally. She's just as quick to give in to fits of contagious giggles as she is to burst into tears. Her moods are like water and are easily influenced by outside forces. Due to this, she can be impulsive and can appear to be a different person from day to day. For the most part, she is sweet and agreeable; a child of untainted innocence who firmly believes in fairy tales and happy endings. Emotionally fragile, she can't handle too much stress which forces her to block things out or simply pretend they never happened. Were someone to force her to see an ugly reality, she would surely drown in waves of melancholy. She's an escapist through and through. She craves attention of any kind, making her quick to please others, no matter the cost. Her inability to remember her past has left her completely lacking a personal identity. This makes her prone to mimicking others' words and actions, whether or not they are appropriate for her age. Her social skills are a disaster and she barely speaks due to never knowing the right words to say, and when she does, her words are often hesitant and they don't always make sense. In time, she will learn to grow to speak more and, possibly, become better equipped to handle social situations. She's curious and has an insatiable thirst for knowledge about anything and everything. She doesn't make friends easily but when she does, she tends to shadow them, sometimes to an alarming extent. Far from jealous or egotistical, she'll give and give until she has nothing left but the beat of her own heart, asking only for affection in return. She loves fiercely, passionately with all every fiber of her body. She is completely fascinated with stars and water of any kind, but especially the rain. Like the element of water, she is fluid, malleable, whimsical, and often wavering. She often has difficulty in choosing anything when given options and, when she finally chooses, she often has problems sticking to it. A child comprised almost entirely of extremes, Vesper can sit still for hours on end, barely moving, or she can dance around like a mad woman. There's hardly an in-between with her.
