At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

Loyalty means nothing unless it has at its heart the absolute principle of self-sacrifice

When finally the fae woke, her lids twitching until they were fully open, she edged her way away from Kalgalath and toward the fish he had lain before her nares. It seemed as if she was eating in slow motion, but Kalgalath could not take his eyes off of her. Her maw opened, jaw shaking ever so slightly. Her pearls pierced the fish’s flesh, and droplets of blood sprung forth around her stalagmites. Gently, her teeth pulled at the flesh and she swallowed the meat down. Even that was done slowly – the tiniest bites sliding down her throat into her stomach. She hardly much of it, but instead licked its flesh until it was dry. But then suddenly, she froze, her neck tightening until finally her cranium turned til her orbs laid upon him. Kalgalath remained still as she watched him, until her gaze met his and she pulled away from him, her ambers averting quickly.

Th-thank you… Her vocals were soft and quiet – he could hardly hear the ess. Her muzzle turned and tried to push the fish closer to Kalgalath, but no more words spilled out. Instead, she met his gaze once again and the titan smiled reassuringly at her, but shook his head. “There is no need to share any of that with me, I fished it out so that you would have a snack to munch on when you awoke – you will need the food for the energy.” Slowly he pulled away from her, slipping from her side. Bit by bit, their pelts pulled apart, the hairs that were intermingled separating into their respective colors. Moving away from her, his limbs bringing his form to her front, and he stood before her. And, finally, the two of them were able to see each other fully… and Kalgalath laughed. Leaning in to her, he whispered in her audette. “Besides, I am not a huge fan of fish anyway. I am more of a meat of the land man rather than a meat of the sea man.” He moved back, not wanting to crowd her space as they were currently still strangers, not even knowing each other’s names.

I hardly ever even fish, so you should feel lucky that I fished for you. Or, perhaps looking at it from the other spectrum, you should feel insulted. I mean… I won’t even eat fish, yet I make you eat it. How cruel can I be?” His attempt at humor was less amusing than he would have liked, yet he still hoped that she would laugh. Kalgalath was not the most comical brute ever, but he sure was compassionate. Slowly, he buckled his joints to lay down once more, but this time in front of her instead of behind her. His arctics met hers and slowly he dipped his head. “And, by the way, I am Kalgalath. You are?” The smell of fish in front of him made his stomach turn, but he kept his façade calm and straight as he looked at her, his pinnae focused on the femme, waiting to hear her name. After she responded, his gaze dropped and he looked away. “Do you mind if I ask how you got into this state? I have a healer back in my pack who can help take care of you...
