The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Aldonza had to pause in step when she saw the second female arrive, and then there was a male with that look given to the other female and herself. Aldonza was a little more interested in that, enough that she froze in step and cocked her head at him; her gaze curious. But then he was speaking to the male that looked all messed up about food, but Aldonza had seen no food nearby. The male had to be mistaken on his ideas of food, but the presence of another gains Aldonza's attention briefly, for it was another female, and then was once more pried away by the sight of another male.

The third one was telling the second one to go hunt for himself if hungry, and Aldonza had to wonder if that would strike up more of a conversation or not. Another female arrived (as she did not notice the hiding ones), and was talking about trees having feathers and not flying or running, and how that would be her favorite thing to hunt. Aldonza had to look at this one with shock and confusion; was that girl okay? Was something wrong in her head? She'd heard stories of those kinds of wolves, but.. this was just strange in her opinion. Then another male had come, speaking out the name 'Rollo', and Aldonza peered at him then back at the others. Who?

And again another male had come, this one had gone right up to the first male -- the messed up one -- and asked what was going on here. Aldonza could only quirk a brow at all of this, but another sound, a growl reached her ears. Some were getting pretty riled up, it seemed, and maybe it was because so many of them had gathered here? Maybe it was time to go, and just as that thought passed, did one or two of the wolves go off. Her gaze followed them for a moment, then rested on yet another male to arrive and ask if this was a celebration. Aldonza simply shook her head and started to edge away from the group. Time to go... and she was passing a few by as she did so, but she wasn't stopping for anyone.
