Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Was it possible for a wolf to fail so completely at his life goals at such a young age? Perhaps the night he had saved Fiammetta's life had not been the start to a formidable career as a warrior, but merely the peak before his humiliating fall. Atlas had saved her that night, only to be so negligent as to allow her to fall into the jaws of someone far worse - Tobias. Now she was a prisoner of the black demon and his imprint. Not to mention his complete and total inability to find Paravana. Where had she gone? How could she have simply disappeared? Neither he nor Emil had been able to find a shred of her scent anywhere. He did not even want to imagine that she'd been taken prisoner like Fiammetta had. He had failed his friend, would he fail his sister as well?

No. Despite how morose the maturing boy felt, he knew he had to keep his head up. He had to keep fighting, keep searching, do anything in his power to protect and defend those he cared about. A true warrior did not give up in the face of adversity. Though he knew that he could not stand against the small group of wolves that inhabited the plains in an attempt to free Fiammetta, he would find some way to help her escape. He had to. He would team up with Emil and find Paravana, and together the three of them could return to Diveen. Atlas did not think he would stay...he had found strength in this loner life he had lived over the past two seasons. The boy was becoming a man, filling out his well balanced frame quite nicely even as his coat began to grow long for the cold months that loomed in the very near future. He was proud of his father for reclaiming their home, but Atlas just wasn't ready to go home yet. The only thing that made his paws wander a little closer to the red dirts of his birth place was the thought of how worried his mother must have been over her missing children.

But Atlas veered towards the shores of the nearby lake rather than towards the borders of his once home. He moved towards a large boulder that sat half submerged in the waters, a place where he had met up with his brother once more. Sniffing about the area, he could tell he had not been here recently. Still, the duo had planned to meet up again before the last leaves fell from the trees, and so he would spend the morning here in hopes that his brother might pass by at some point. Circling around, Atlas lay down at the base of the rock. His head lowered to his paws, pale golden eyes keeping watch on his surroundings. His resolve was strong, but the boy could not help but feel a little battered by the circumstances.
