Yes my apologies I have been lacking sleep and was nodding when I typed up the sighting.
What I meant to get across is that this particular Cat was markedly different than the Western Cougars we are accustomed to seeing in photos etc. I also didn't mean to imply it was a large specimen by any means.
In fact we both got the impression it was a younger animal by the way. The darker coat along with seemingly accentuated Cougar facial,(and other), markings just struck us both. The stoutness of the front legs was also atypical of most photos I have seen. Thanks
