Breeding

Where the magic happens...
Wanting your own adorable hoard of fluffy puppies? You’ve come to the right place!
In winter, parents post their stats (alongside any other relevant stats such as grandparents etc.) in the below format. Staff then roll dice to determine if you conceive. If you do (congratulations!), Staff will then roll some more dive and perform some magic in order to produce your puppy stats.
You can view how we do that magic right here!

Certain prizes, such as ‘Pick Your Own Litter Size’ and ‘Custom Stats’ must be used before Stats are posed, whereas ‘+1 Puppy’ can be used after. If in doubt, check with Staff!

Once Stats have been posted, players may post in response claiming and naming puppies. Once spring begins, the mother’s player must reply to the thread with a link to their ‘birthing post’ on the appropriate date unless an extension has been requested.

Parent Stats
* post for both father/mother
Age:
Height / Weight:
Eye Color:
Body / Fur Type: (be detailed! long, short, thick, whispy, scruffy fur; brawny, willowy, wide set ears, a tail that’s a little crooked – everything helps!)
Fur Colour: (be specific with markings, and include references if you want!)
Other Stats (Optional): (for example, parents and grandparents; siblings; anything ‘cultural’ such as special markings in their bloodline etc)

** We include the option of grandparent / sibling / etc stats in order to help produce unique puppies even if a pair are plainer coloured. For example, two pure white parents don’t leave much room for exploration but with additional family stats, we can bring in new traits!

DUE DATE: September 4

Pup 1
Female
Healthy

Eye Color – Both eyes are a pale ice blue, just like her mother.

Coat Color – This girl looks like a darker version of her father with her palest colour being a deep ochre. This ochre extends all over her undersides and down her legs, though her paws up to her ankles are black too. Her top line is coated in deep black. She wears a dark black and grey face mask that concerntrates over her eyes and forehead. There are marblings of ochre, brown and grey elsewhere. Her muzzle is paler, however, and verges on a pale tan. Very similar to this.

Coat Type - Average length but quite thick and plush.

Height/Weight- 33 inches / 82 lbs

Body Type – She takes, unsurprisingly, quite a bit after her father in the looks department. She has a small, intelligent looking face though she missed out on his cat eyes. Instead, she could be described as quite girlish. Her body is lean like her mother's with smooth, athletic muscle. Her legs are long and thin with a trim waist and deep chest. She is a strong sprinter, that is for certain.

Pup 2
Male
Unhealthy - Mute

Eye Color - His eyes are black with a burst of yellow from the pupils.

Coat Color - His base colour is black like his mother's. A patch of deep ochre starts beneath his throat and trails down his neck to his chest. It peppers out across his stomach. He also has some sparse flecks of deep, deep grey fur across his back. These hairs aren't really concerntrated, however.

Coat Type - Average in all regards, though a little thicker over his neck and scruff.

Height / Weight - 31 inches / 83 lbs

Body Type - Though he is shorter than his sister, he is ever so slightly heavier. He takes on a more all rounder feel from his father with a stout, athletic body. He has his father's cat-like eyes, too, which seem to off set his features in quite a unique way. He has his mother's face, it seems, and yet his father's eyes stare back out. He lacks the same grace as his sister, though, but makes up for it with slightly shorter, sturdier limbs. He will be quite naturally inclined towards being an endurance runner, though not quite as fast as his other family members.

Mother's Health: 3/10
Despite the small size of this litter, the birth will not go smoothly. There is a prolonged labor and the possibilit of the pup becoming stuck, requiring some tearing and forcing before he is born. You will be sore, exhausted and worst for wear for up to a month following the birth. You will need a pack, mate or imprint to help you during this time.
