News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

“As you wish.”

He head simply inclines in a nod, if he came about such information in regards to Eden he would store it, as surely as he stored all things and yet if Dany did not require it specifically he would not pursue it, at least not for now, there were far more important matters with which to consume the tangles of his often overly complicated mind. Her words upon a treaty to be formed were given to earn another nod of approval, for a treaty was often a far less involved manner then a full alliance, after all, a treaty allowed the proverbial waters to be tested before leaping in head first and as such his mind finds sense in these things. He knows little of Glorall beyond what is common knowledge and yet he finds an unsociable Alpha to be a suspicious Alpha- those who keep to themselves are either powerful enough to do so- of which Glorall was surely not, else they have something to keep hidden and as such Pan offers mere caution in this. Eden was a notoriously introverted to his mind and opinion and as such he found some note of wary discord to be had, offered to his Alphess now and for her own protection and benefit of their pack. After all, it was his role, to an extent, to assure the smooth maintenance of their land and it’s political affairs and as such he strives to offer the most sound of advice where capable. The matter of Asteraia however was an entirely different matter and the sort of which his mind had not yet come against. Indeed it was a political minefield and one he has thought deeply on of late.

Iblis and Rhae had, perhaps, been the last true leaders of note within those lands, a favourable pair and yet both had been aged, their reign shorter then surely it would have been had they been within their prime and yet the matters of the past, in this instance, are unimportant. Iblis and Rhae were gone, Jaidah had turned her gaze to Taviora and as such the matter of Asteraia had placed itself with prominence in the gleaming golden boys mind.

“I believe this is perhaps one of the more intriguing of the decisions that will face us. On one hand we must consider our current allys, will we risk damage with such packs by being seen to extend our hands to Asteraia? In the case of Taviora I believe this could be possible as it is to my understanding there is a strong chord of dislike between the forest and the fields and yet I feel perhaps the forest, in this moment, is more inclined to place its energy into repelling Jaidah- if the forest should fall their opinion the matter will be void regardless and as such, in this moment I do not find Taviora to be in play in regards to this situation. I will say however, that while the forest would not find favour with us for seeking peace with the field I believe our ties with them are strong enough to withstand it. Of Iromar I do not hold true concern, of all the packs they seem perhaps the least concerned with the fields and of Diveen I know there are….whispers that they too may seek to ally themselves with the field. Achilles is not Isola, as Isola was not Heyel and of any pack it is surely Diveen that has been caused the most grief by the Black Prince. The question to be asked- is why. Why does Diveen, potentially, seek to form allyship here? Why have they not immediately marked Asteraia an enemy?”

He allows for a pause, although surely Daenerys is well aware he is only moments from answering his own question, merely offering her mind a chance to consider the thoughts he presents her with.

“Since Tobias and the Scar-faced female assumed control of Asteraia the attacks in the free lands that so plagued us before have all but ceased. To my knowledge, once the Scar-faced one defeated Jaidah’s mate, the Black Prince and his counterpart- the red and white one- assumed position in Asteraia, to rank Tobias so high as to afford him to title of King, to me, I assume imprinting has occurred. They stand as imprint and mate to one another, those three- that is a powerful leading force and that cannot be denied. As to whom is truly in control I cannot say, I believe it, surely, to be the Scar-Face female for Tobias does not possess the mind set to command with political genius and yet……there has been peace in that pack, as if those whom might seek to kill and maim have found solace in that place and beneath a King and Queen they respect and there is something to be said in that. I believe, most assuredly, that Tobias remains a danger and yet for how long have we guarded against him? He is volatile and unpredictable and with a pack at his command his potential for violence is ten-fold and this I will not deny. Yet what I believe Diveen has seen, perhaps, is what I have come to see as well. Are we better to make an enemy of them, or an ally?”

There is a slight pause once more, his thoughts long, just as his words and yet they have begun to unfold neatly and orderly now.

“I believe the Scar-Face female to be capable of fully functioning thought, to ally with her is to keep our borders and our wolves free of her hunger. Believe she has some method of control over Tobias, what it is I cannot say, yet no attacks have occurred since he has resided in Asteraia. There is something bigger at play here. We must exercise extreme caution and I would offer nothing more than a treaty, a test for perhaps the duration of a year to see if peace may be maintained for that long for if a year can be had in which Tobias does not breech our borders then this too, will test the authority of the Scar-Face female over him. I believe that pack holds the potential for great power, a power would rather not have turned against us. I do not suggest Spirane offer them anything from fear they will attack, I suggest perhaps, Spirane test a treaty with them as I believe is Diveen’s plan- for if ever a war is to come to these lands again I know well whom I do not desire to be against. There is great risk to this, just as there is great risk to ignore them entirely, to find peace with them is to also afforded Spirane a certain amount of…control, they may be better watched if it is so our wolves may pass through their borders. Some enemies are better kept close Danearys, a treaty is what I would offer, peace, for at least one year before a decision is made further. To make peace with them- is to protect our wolves and our pack. We must be clever in this.”

A treaty would test the strength of the word of the Scar-Faced female and the Black Prince- now King, a year was a long time to maintain control of such…urges and yet if it could be done then a decision would be further made in a years time, it also offered less chance of offense to their current allys, after all, a treaty was not an alliance in full. It is merely his suggestion that the wolves of Asteraia be tested and little else, to turn them against the mountain would be folly, yet to draw them too close could be equally so, dark eyes held now against his Queen to further hear her words on the matter should she offer them.
