Her blood is clearly a trigger for Exodus’ more protective nature. She senses it in the way his body tenses up at the sight of her ripping the scab from the cut. Not that she meant to anyway. It was actually very nice to have someone who cared so greatly for her wellbeing and she almost had the crazy idea to do more haphazard things so that she may revel in this odd, new sensation. She scoffs at him as her head turns back from nibbling at the insatiable itch beneath the hardened skin. Tri-colored eyes narrow at him for even speaking such a thing. ”Oh, come on now. Healers are a joke. If I was meant to die from my wounds then so be it. That is nature’s way. No need for these crazy witch doctors to try and patch me up with grass and roots.” she is a stubborn one, if he hasn’t learned it by now then he likely never will. She may not feel hatred so strongly for the healers as a whole but she certainly will never call for one upon herself. Maybe there was some good in it for the lesser beings of Moladion, but as for Bellatrix and her line, there is no need. It is better to die than to be dependent upon another for life.
”Obviously these cuts are not fatal.” she sneers at him, ears pinning back slightly as her tail swishes once or twice in anticipation for a lunge. But his previous statement at leaving Diveen had her making a complete turn around and her expression turned from playful, to shocked, to solemn once more. Soft gray brindled ears swiveled forward as he explained why he had decided not to remain within the ravine and it began to make a bit more sense. ”I suppose loyalty does not lay within the land itself, but the individuals.” she speaks her thoughts aloud as she comes to the conclusion.
The obsidian boy is clearly disgruntled at her demand to hear more and with a defeated roll of her eyes and a huge sigh, she turns away from him. ”Fiiiiine. I can finally teach YOU something then, little lost boy.” she laughs as her head tilts back only to see him pouncing toward her and without a millisecond to react she is tumbling upon the ground beneath his weight. Dammit! I am supposed to be the one doing the tackling! It is her signature style after all, to ambush and dominate those in her path. His pearly whites nibble upon her golden streaked ears and she retaliates immediately with a rumbling growl as she twist beneath him to escape his clutches.
”If you’d rather tumble to your death down this mount than go for a swim… then be my guest.” she retorts between huffs of breath as she pushes her front paws against his chest. She knows the crags better than any other that visits here and with their immense size it wouldn’t be too difficult to get carried away and plunge to their fates. Hopefully the tantalizing thought of a mid-summer’s swim will divert his attentions.
