Soda wasn't surprised about her father leaving again, he always seemed to when trouble usually came along, but as far as she could tell this new stallion was as much trouble as her father made him out to be. Jabberwocky tended to over exaggerate things. The pale lady had watched him from afar, unsure if she should approach or not. He'd be like all the rest she thinks to herself, remembering Hamlet, Asp, and Grai; whom she had come to love with all her heart only to get it broken the day he vanished. Was she ready to be around another stallion? Will he stay longer than the others? The questions swarmed her mind until finally she breaks away from her spot to move toward the painted stallion. She had no choice but to go to him; he could answer her questions.
It felt cooler as she walked on, the scent of rain heavy in the air as the dark clouds slowly rolled in high above in the sky. At any minute the rain would fall but Soda knew she would have time to question the stranger and his intentions. Raising her head she calls to him, coming to a stop a few lengths away, in case he hadn't noticed her approach already; she tended to move like a ghost.
"Hello there stranger," her soft voice speaks, amber colored eyes taking in his shape and form. He was handsome, she had to admit, but that could only take one so far. Could he be the Ridge's rightful leader? "I'm Soda, my father was the one who forfeited to you and I was lead mare before that to a stallion who is now long gone, " her tone was sad as she mentions Grai but she continues on being the strong mare she had been, "if you can answer my questions I would be happy to stay and assist in any way I can." Finally she fades into silence, dipping her head down.
