Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Her expression shifts into something fierce as her muzzle wrinkles slightly at his taunting words. She does not truly mean to come across as angry at him and yet he has initiated a challenge whether he is aware of it or not. She knows that he will not pin her down forever and she patiently bides her time for him to take the bait and head toward the lake in the fields adjacent to her home.

”How poetic of you Exodus.” she scoffs at his statement and prepares for another assault upon her ears as his jaws slide agape. Although it is not another barrage of nibbling that comes toward her, but a large pink tongue to slap against her blackened nose. The moment that he steps paw off of her is when she goes rolling back to her own. Thickly corded legs flail wildly as she rights herself once more and focuses her attention fully on her counterpart. Her muzzle wrinkles again in a look of faux disgust as she lifts one left to rid herself of his saliva. ”I don’t want your germs!” she whines in a joking manner as a playful sneer slips upon her features. In truth, the momentary affection nearly sent her heart bursting from her very chest and she was now rejuvenated with boundless energy.

Another challenge is issued and by now they are stacking up like fall leaves upon the ground. Not even a moment after his bet did he take off in the direction of the fields and she is soon dashing after him. ”Only because you are lighter!” she yells after him as she stays upon his trail in pursuit. It is not a secret that speed was one of Bellatrix’s weak points. While she was not a very slow creature, there were much faster wolves that resided within Moladion, she is sure of.

A pink tongue flops to loll out of her mouth as she pants during her run; and when she sees him bounding into the shallows of the lake it is all too much of a temptation. He still has not turned back to look at her and his ceased movement has allowed her to eat up the remaining earth that lays between them both. Just as he turns to shout his words to her, she is crashing into the scene, her colossal figure jumping to land atop his own. She rolls off of his back and onto her side into the refreshing water as her neck extends so that her jaws may grasp the loose skin of his neck to drag him down with her.

Within a moment all is nothing but a whirl of rushing water as her head is submerged and her grip is released. Tri-colored eyes open to see his dark figure through the murky water moments before her powerful legs push herself off of the silted bottom. With a gasp of fresh air she is emerging back into the world above while her paws find stability upon the muddy bottom. ”Well you said to come on in...” she smiles devilishly as her ears pin back against her skull and a paw is risen to slap at the water’s surface in front of him.

She couldn’t remember the last time that she had enjoyed something so much and it brought a sense of bliss that she never knew was possible.
