Re(1): The Times

I sort of agree. Years ago when I attempted the Listener, the paper was pretty cheap and not a door stop. Then the Internet came about, and I did join the Times 'crossword club'. But after a few weeks it all went tits-up and I couldn't log in no matter what I did, nor no matter how many e-mails I sent to support - I gave up after 6 months or so, never to return.

I gave up.

Today, no way will walk 1 mile to the local ASDA's to get a Times on Saturday (if one is still there) and pay 2 quid odd to get a brick.

And the news. I guess Charles Dickens will be the next dodgy geezer being investigated.
