sariel is proud to say that she hears the woman before she speaks. the silence of the night is broken by the crunch of paws on untouched snow that overlaps the lazy run of water before sariel’s blind eyes. a small smile touches sariel’s face and she listens intently, nose twitching in an effort to gather the wolf’s scent - the chill of winter comes with a sharp scent that can be incredibly overpowering. she has not succeeded when a low woof is brought to highly sensitive ears. despite her lack of vision, sariel turns her head towards the stranger, ears pricking upwards. her green gaze lands a few inches from the girl’s frame.

”Hello. Is you being part of Spirane or Iromar packs?” sariel’s eyes snap the remaining inches to the girl’s face when she realizes she had been off the first time, but still her gentle smile widens as she makes a responding hum of greeting. standing, sariel shakes her head slowly. ”i can’t say i am,” she responds, then says in a moment of curiosity, ”i’d love to hear more about them, if you’d be so kind?” she takes a few slow steps closer to the female, wagging her tail slowly once, then twice, before it falls back to tickle her ankles. the idea of a pack is tempting, has been for many months, and the more she knows about the packs is a bigger advantage to determine which to join.
