Within the past two seasons all of Moladion experienced unrest and unsettlement. The status quo had changed. The former Queen of Asteraia had been toppled because her male counterpart was defeated by yours truly. What seemed completely impossible Diveen had fallen to some unknown male. This male had experienced what was known as the greatest exodus. Nearly every single Angel left Diveen and went to the Mountains. Some wolves within Asteraia went to Diveen, following their former Queen, and she had to jumble with managing a pack herself. When she had met the members within the pack she was quite pleased. Some wolves would be so concerned about the quantity and yet she was more concerned with the quality. Most of the wolves were either old enough to be her grandparents or young enough to be her kid, and yet, it did not bother her. The unknown male that got the Diveen throne seemed to concerned about the numbers that he quickly gave it to another Angel, and yet, not a single soul went back to Diveen. It wasn’t long before Diveen would have its rightful ruler take place and all the wolves came back, but when that same unknown wolf decided to be spiteful and attack the Mountain Alpha it was no surprise that he would lose. The former Queen of Asteraia had issued a challenge to the new ruler of Taviora and her little piece of heaven remained a haven for herself and those that called this place home. She was quite content with her fields and her pack and it did not bother her should others want to come…should it be on peaceful terms. Winter had come and now the land had grown silent, for now, and for the time being all could be at peace – something well deserved after these two unusually crazy seasons.
It is not hard to pinpoint the exact location of her counterpart. Even if the two didn’t necessarily thrive to be close to one another, both seemed quite tolerable at the proximity to one another. Typically they could hardly stand to be close to one another, and perhaps because it was Winter or that they had known one another for three seasons now, they had grown to accept each other’s presence. That thin chain that bound the two together seemed so easily breakable and yet it seemed it would strengthen. Indeed she had a more difficult than most on connecting with her counterpart, and yet, she always tried when she could have easily given up. There were tendril moments, rare and so few, when she would speak to Tobias and for a moment his emerald eyes seemed to hold a flicker of understanding, and yet his entire façade would turn into a blank slate and she would lose what she thought she had found. He was not much for talking and yet there were moments when she would see him staring into nothing, so quiet and still, and she wondered if somewhere buzzing in the back of his skull he was wanting to say something that he did not know how to do. She would not push though. She would not yell and scream. When he would blow up over his frustration over anything that bothered him, she would just quietly accept it and take it all in, her presence alone needed for him to soothe over…if he ever did soothe over at all. Either way Tick Tock would remain there, the ever silent and sturdy rock, for him to lean on should he ever need it. Though for now it would seem he wished to show her something.
The touch between the two was not very frequent. Not ever was their touch in such a caring way. Even when she would brush up against his side or place her muzzle along his neck or shoulder it was always to reassure not necessarily affection as everyone thought. She herself had never experienced touch that was meant for affection, and affection alone, and perhaps when she felt that one day she wouldn’t know how to react. As she stood quietly before the two males she heard the low growl coming from Tobias and she would return her own rumbling sound in equal greeting. As his shoulder was roughly thrusted into her chest her body would not jolt at the point of contact, rather, she would lean into him as he slid down her side, both their dark hide beginning and ending together, and yet her skull would not move to follow him. It was the feeling of his teeth grabbing her ruff that caused her eyes to widen slightly, puzzled at his new touch, and she would turn to look at her counterpart. Her own black lips pulled back to reveal her sharp teeth as she gently tugged at the ruff along his neck in the same manner, assuming, this was the correct reaction. Softly she whispers to Tobias, speaking gently.
“We have no leaves here…clearly we must make sure they do not come back.”
Yet her attention could not be solely on him for long. She would need to meet and speak to their guest. He was young and appeared to be a healthy wolf. Dark eyes would shift from Tobias and back to Tithe as Tobias explains just why this other wolf was here and what his intentions were. It was not difficult to see the uncertainty on his face. Always she was a candor creature and not one to rely on emotions so heavily. She speaks once more her voice not very comforting sounding, but perhaps it was her choice of words that would be.
“It is rare for Tobias to like another wolf, much less, bring me a wolf unharmed. He wants you to join our pack. Before you tell me your doubts I can assure you, we are a small pack there are many high ranks to fill, we are a pack that tolerates and accepts everyone. Tobias and I protect our own, and everyone provides for one another. I want every wolf to feel like they belong somewhere, and belonging here, with wolves that accept others and all…is such a rarity that I bring to this pack.”
