Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I still think Solitaire would be an awesome father. Who could ask for better? He'd be a pro at kissing boo boos and stitching them up any time. He'd be good at playing games with them too. He's already proved that, running up and down the beaches with me in our times together. I wouldn't mind playing with them either, daring them to chase uncle Tristan and watching them grow. I'd be as proud of them as he is, I'm sure. I did plan for a family some day with a girl I love but I guess I haven't found that right connection just yet. Hopefully some day before I'm too old and senile to even have children. I can see that Soltaire is nervous about the whole thing. I guess he has every right to be since he doesn't really know Ambrosia all that well but I bet she's nice enough. I bet she'll make a good mother too.

I can't help but grin at his words. It's good to know he feels as strongly as family as I do. At his last words, I tilt my head some and my expression softens. Yeah, I guess he didn't get to pick but he could always say no if it's something he didn't really want to do. I have a feeling he does like this Ambrosia girl and maybe he feels she wouldn't be so bad to be tied to anyway. Otherwise he wouldn't go along with it, right? I shrug. "True, but at least you get a family out of it." I look toward the ocean, my thoughts growing distant. "Maybe some day I'll get the same."
