And just like that, it was a winter wonderland.

Snow blanketed the entirety of Moladion: from the peaks of Spirane to the plains of Asteraia. Despite being alive for six years, almost seven now, this winter felt like her first all over again. Winter in Diveen was somehow much different than those in Taviora. Maybe it was due to the absence of trees, or the constant closeness of one whom she had come to care fir dearly; Either way, she found it refreshing. The cold felt good, numbing the soreness and pain from her wounds and helping to ease any lingering swelling. Her wounds were healing well, with her constant care of them the large wounds had scabbed over and the smaller bites and claw marks vanishing. The deep gash on her leg would scar over, but her fur would hide most of it.

Guardian had been her constant companion and helper. With her patient guidance, he helped work on some of the wounds she could not get to on her own. He also brought the small girl food and anything else she needed when he wasn't staying vigilant outside the den or out doing his job in the pack. He had really come to live up to his name as well as earned her affections. Each passing day she found her self growing more and more fond of the large angel, but doubt in herself kept her from voicing these growing feelings. In her mind, there was no way he could like her the way she liked him. Recent events however had put that thought into doubt however.

This winter was definitely different than any other she had experienced. As the temperature grew colder and colder and the snow began to fall, their hormones began to course faster and harder through their bodies. Normally this would not have led to anything Aviias, not being around any males for her to feel the draw, but with Guardian's closeness, things had escalated when she came into heat. One thing led to another....well you know how this story ends. And now Aviias's belly was beginning to bulge. At first she thought she was just being paranoid, that it was nothing, that she was seeing things. Yet she could feel it, call it a female's intuition. Pregnant. With Guardian's puppies. It left her head spinning. What was she going to do? They weren't made, not even imprints. Would he accept the puppies? What would become of their relationship? What would the others think?

She knew one thing, he had no idea, not yet anyway for he would have reacted to it. She had just begun to show signs, her belly bulge a little more noticeable than on other females due to her small stature. At the moment though, if you weren't looking for it, you would miss it, simply pass it off as a full stomach from eating. If she rolled over however, it became very apparent. Aviias knew she had to tell him soon, so he had plenty of time to let the shock wear off and they could talk about things: like the whole situation between them, the puppies and names, and telling everyone else. Thankfully no one else had been around to see her, hidden away in her den that Guardian had carried her too. She didn't get many, if any visitors outside of Guardian. Butterflies filled her stomach at the thought of having to tell Achilles and Guardian's family.

The small, gray girl limped out of the den, the leg that had the large gash wound in it from Zues's "message" hurt too badly to put too much weight on it. Violet eyes saw the familiar form of Guardian laying just outside the den beneath the beautiful starry night sky. Immediately she limped to him, drawn to his comforting, protective presence. Her feet crunched clumsily in the snow, alerting him to her approach. Gingerly, she laid down beside him, her body gently leaning into his for support but also because she found she liked his touch. For a moment she is silent, and then she inhales deeply, loving the crisp, cold, fresh air. She stares at the stars as they glisten, her mind deep in thought. Aviias had to tell him, and now was a good time. "The stars are really beautiful," her sweet voice says calmly, but there are a hint of nerves there as she swallows.

She looks to him now, the gentle smile on her lips fading to something more serious. There are butterflies fluttering relentlessly in her stomach as the tiny girl tries to build up the courage to tell him. For a moment she silently stare, finding him as handsome as ever. "Guardian......" a pause to try and collect herself. "I'm pregnant." it was blunt yes, but she really didn't know what to say. Her words are almost a whisper on her lips as she waits and watches for his reaction. How would he react to finding out he was going to be a father?
