Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

The brute had never anticipated that adopting a pup was going to be in his near future, let alone right now. He had always loved pups, how cute and innocent and fun they were, and he had always wanted some of his own. He had not thought about adoption though, if he had he may have had some pups of his own before Shae brought him Nzingha. The brute did not want to admit that he owed Shae for bringing him one of his nieces, but in a way he did owe her. But he was still beyond pissed at her. She felt like she owned the whole world, waltzing into his pack as she pleased without his permission, keeping some of his family away from him as if she had the choice as to where they all went after Lady died. He would need to speak with her and sort all this out, find out how the rest of his living family was doing and why the female kalak was so interested in his family all of a sudden. Summer would forever remain suspicious of that female, no matter what she sneaky lies she may try and tell him.

But the smoky brujo did not want to focus on that female right now, there was another femme with him that brought joy to his life, rather and frustration and anger. It was very comforting to have a living member of his family with him. He had thought they were all dead for so long, and now he had a glimmer of hope that some of his other siblings may have survived. Maybe Summer could even take Nzingha out with him to search for any other of his family that may have survived, he would just have to make sure that it was safe to take her along. The brute would make sure to never put her in danger, and to keep her safe from any of dangers of the world that may try to harm her. She would have to learn that the world was dangerous and not easy to live in, but he did not need her to know that until she was older.

Summer was excited to show his new daughter…niece…Nzingha…around the territory that he had called home for so long. He brought her to one of the rivers that went through the territory, knowing that it was gentle enough to swim in and he would not need to worry about the smaller femme having trouble fighting a current. Her smaller form pressed against him as they walked through the trees, and his plume wagged happily behind him. When he asked if she knew how to swim, she slowly shook her head, looking away as she spoke, as if embarrassed. "No... I don't know how to swim. I've... never actually been in the water." Summer knew there was no reason to be embarrassed about this, she was still young enough that there was much for her to learn about the world. ”I could teach you if you’d like. It’s not too deep here, and the water is calm and gentle. A perfect place to learn.” He stepped a few feet into the water, the cool water going a little up his leg as he turned around to look at Nzingha, waiting to see what she would like to do.

Summer spoke to her about the river as she stepped forward and took a quick drink before quickly stepping back. Maybe she would not want to learn how to swim? He knew that it was a useful tool to know, but not one that was necessary to live. ”I promise I’ll keep you safe in the water, but if you’d rather not come in that’s quite alright too Nzingha.” He didn’t want to start their relationship off making her do something that she didn’t want to do. He knew that she needed to learn how to trust him before she would want to do something that scared her with him.

After they finished at the stream the younger femme spoke again, "Good to know... what else is there here?" There were not too may unique landmarks in the territory here, mostly just dense forest. He decided to show her the clearing towards the middle of the pack, where he held the pack meetings and anything else important. ”Well this pack is mostly filled with thick trees and dense forest, but there are a few areas that aren’t like that. One of the clearings is where I hold pack meetings, I’ll show it you next.” His smoky colored frame turned back to the thickest area of trees. His yellow orbs looked behind him to make sure that his niece was still with him, a smile on his features as they walked through the trees. ”So does this pack look similar to Moondown Shadows? Or is it a lot different?” Summer had not spend much time there, only focusing on getting to Lady when he had ran through the trees, and then blinded by grief as he fled from the scene of her death, not paying any attention to the scenery around him.
