Falls

The change of seasons is welcomed by alexander as he continued his slow disinterested walk through the long grass. Living in the falls all this time hadn't done him any favors but trying to find a home felt useless. His father had left him and the herd long ago and the rest of their family had scattered out to different places. The thought often brought a frown to his charcoal maw and at this very moment it blended in well with his mood.

Something caught his attention in the corner of his eye as his soft blues shift to focus on the subject. A little ways ahead of him stood a soft pearl mare flicking her tail as she spoke to the dun mare who kept her company. On her butt where spots should be was instead nothing but a splash of white. Alex found her intriguing as well as the pearl girl who looked and carried herself much like his aunt who barred the same color.

They unknowingly brought a smile to his face which caused him to shift his stride of direction and head towards them. This breeding season alexander wasn't going to be fathering any children. He stayed clear of those in heat until now. But even as he closed the distance between the duo and himself, alexander is still no threat. He isn't ready to be a father, not now. Offering a soft nicker in greeting followed by his aureate hide pausing close enough to see them more clearly and hear them but far enough where he thought they would not feel threatened. "hello ladies" his voice is low and husky but friendly "would it be alright to have you as company? It's been very depressing around here" pausing alexander pales, even though he knew he would not do anything to them, there was a very good chance they did not. "i won't hurt you, i'm not like that" alex gushes feel even more embarrassed.
