Absent mindedly, Taika had been setting her paw on a patch of dirt she had found, lifting her paw up and down to create little clouds of dust. With a smirk she placed her paw in the small amount of water and made paw prints beside her. She opened her mouth to speak once more to her friend when she heard the click of paws against the rocks of the crags. Ears perked forward and she jumped to her feet, tail automatically swaying behind her. The other pair of wolves came into view and instantly the young lady was gripped with excitement. Not a thought passed her mind and she fell into a play bow, her tongue rolling with joy.
“Hello!” She called back to them. Nothing but friendliness could be heard in her voice, erasing the questioning tone that Zelda had originally greeted her with. Another body showed up and Taika’s own form squirmed with the energy of others being around her. She let out a soft whimper and sat, her body still quivering and her tail clearly trying to wag her off her feet. Panting, she glanced down at the place she had been playing with her faeries.
“I was talking to Tauno.” Her eyes looked over at Astraea. In the brown and gold laced irises the girl’s intelligence still gleamed bright. No matter her words of fairytale dreams, or fantasy quests, it was obvious Taika was not gripped by madness but a playful nature and nothing to do with it. she looked at them, hoping these young pups still had the fire of freedom and play in them. The ability to believe the impossible. “He is a faerie from the deep forests. His family outgrew their shelter and asked me to help them find a new home!” She looked around their found shelter and panted. “We decided to take shelter from the storms here, but I don’t think they really like the stones much.” A grin grew on her lips and she looked slyly over at the pair who had shown up. “I may have to keep exploring!”
